Learn how to ask questions. For example, the question you asked here is pretty much useless. People will come and give you what they think you want but it may not be what you want.

Learn how to do your own research. There are literally thousands of helpful posts here with most everything you need to start making an income. Research. Decide what you want to do. Get started. Then come and get more help when you run into issues.

Be careful of helpful warriors bearing "gifts" or offers sold in signatures or in the marketplace sections. Many are legit and at the same time many are useless. Learn how to tell the difference.

Real learning comes by doing. Not by reading, planning, thinking, etc. even though that's all important. Figure out what you want to try and go and be willing to mess something up as part of the learning process.

    Good luck.

    Mark

PS Oh, and what Brent said too.

Good to see ideas come together as in that 'article' - well done.

One addition - The Feed is default view but if you click your forum name in the black tool bar above, you have the option of choosing 'classic view' which may be more like forum styles you are accustomed to.

Try both out - the feed view and the classic view - then stick with the one that suits you best. Welcome - and good luck.

Kay, your suggestion to try out classic/modern view is awesome. I have tried both. Which is your preferred view?

    I'm with Brent.

The most important thing is to learn to generate quality / cost effective traffic.

The rest of your sales process can be tested / tweaked to improve.

Without traffic, your sales process can be the greatest, but you won't make a dime.

Everyone is different - I've been on this forum for so long the 'classic' is normal to me. Other members like the streamlined 'modern' view. It's personal preference but you can only choose if you know there is a choice.

The main reason I posted this question is because I was kind of struggle and did not know what to do for few weeks after joining this forum. I heard many members got banned from this forum so in order to be careful and not repeating the same mistakes, I posted this question.

You first have to know what it is you want to achieve.

There are many different ways for you to make money online. Pick something and learn more about it. Find out how it works and then try to make it work or even add your twist to it.

The basic model to making money online is this Targeted Traffic-->Targeted Offer-->Build List

If you can make this work, you'll be able to make any amount of money that you want to online.

I'll be real with you right now. Making money online is one of the hardest things you'll ever try to do with your life. You have to be prepared to put in the work and fail lots of times. This is the only way you'll be successful.

Personally, I think it's difficult to give you advice as we don't know where you are in terms of knowledge and resources, and what you are expecting in terms of results.

People keep mentioning traffic. Yes everyone needs traffic to succeed, but knowing how to drive traffic without the site built with the right offer is useless. It's like a car with a full tank and not having a map to get where you need to go. You could end up anywhere.

The truth is you should build an offer then drive traffic suited to that offer, you can then scale adjusting the offer and the traffic along the way as you learn.

First, understand the business market you want to be in. Find out what it is people are wanting in that market and create an offer that aligns with that. You can then learn how to drive traffic. The easiest way to gain traffic is buy it. That's the fastest way and one that will give you far more consistent results. Once you get the consistent traffic you can test and optimize to gain better results. Make sure you are building a list along with the way and find out how to use tracking pixels to retarget ads. These will save you money long term and help you improve your return on investment.

Finally if you want to be rich quick, your probably in the wrong place, but good luck.

One of the biggest things to learn if you sign up to some lists do not purchase the next big thing till you have checked here first

This forum has saved many from buying crap from scammers as you are there biggest target , go in the search tab up the top and look at some threads of the things you like get an idea what and how it works
learn to be the best at the chosen niche

Once you have that in order make your product and sell it then you can really be your own boss.

Get to know what each of the more experienced members can offer you in terms of support and knowledge to help shorten your learning curve.

Understand that when you are given advice or pointed in a particular direction there is a reason behind the advice given and sometimes it requires more personal effort to investigate and adapt what you discover to your personal situation.

    Establish relationships.

Build new relationships and hang around long enough to become a valued member of the forum.

There is nothing more satisfying than seeing people make progress.

Recognise that getting somewhere, achieving a goal or scoring a few wins and racking up a few losses is part of the business journey.

Share your experiences both good and bad.

Get involved in discussions in a constructive way not just to self-promote or to build some profile.

    Be genuine.

Take your time to learn and engage with the people here.

Those people will reveal some gems once you know what to look out for.

    Enjoy the journey.

    Best regards,

    Ozi

If you've never been involved in any kind of online business before it's all going to be a lot to digest.

Don't get overwhelmed and quit - push past that and that's when you'll be able to start making money .

When I got started I had somewhat of a mentor myself which accelerated my learning in some ways.

If you're brand new you have to start exploring and finding out what is available in the online space, some of the different ways you can make money and then choose something and really dig deep with it.

Most people never get anywhere because they switch from SEO to PPC to email marketing and then all of a sudden 1-2 years passes and they haven't truly mastered anything.

If you're new you got some learning and stumbling around to do, but be persistant and you'll get there.

The first thing I would tell new members is...don't be lazy!

You guys keep asking the same exact questions that have been asked about a trillion times....

    How can I make $20 a day?

    What paid ads work?

    How can I get traffic?

    What affiliate networks work?

The only creative aspect of these questions is the wide range of words being used to ask the same thing over in many different ways.

    Why does this keep happening?

There is a search feature above.

    Use it.

    But make no mistake...

You will need about 3 months of reading and absorbing just to start wrapping your mind around the real inner workings of successful marketing.

So most new marketers don't really know what to ask especially when they are brand new to this forum.
