Teespring Goal Question

I am new to selling t shirts on teespring. I am confused. If I set my goal to sell 3 shirts and I only sell one will I still get paid and will they print and ship out the shirt that the person reserved? I've tried this once and I only sold one shirt on a 3 goal minimum and they still shipped it out and sent me the money.

Some time ago you had to reach you goal to get paid and
to get the shirts produced. But maybe they made some changes...
