Long tail pro research

I have a keyword research analysis report bought almost a year ago. I don`t know the research tool used and whether the keyword difficulty has changed over time. I want to get the particulars of this old analysis report re-checked with a premium tool like long tail pro.

There are fiverr gigs offering a LTP research and some of them offer a cracked LTP.

1. Is it OK to buy the latter?
2. Does anybody have other ideas?

    How about you buy some research tools yourself. Or, at least, find better quality researchers
