Need Help - email marketing

I think you are on the right track.


Creating your own diet guide that can be emailed to potential customers that are interested in your main product, is the classic strategy that is used to sell your product to your list.


Studies have shown that visitors to a sales page will often need to come back to the sales page three times of more before making a purchase.


If you can break your free guide into seven of more parts (so you email to them at least seven times) then you have a much greater chance of selling your product to them.


If you sell a different product it is probably best to have a new course specific to the new product you are selling.


You will find it will be more effective, but you could still try your first course - as long as you sell enough to make a profit that should be fine.


In the past I have had a different course for each product that I have sold although I know it is time consuming to create each course, so trying the same course for different products will be a good solution - try it and see.

So you are going to create a free diet guide as a freebie to promote a paid diet guide?

Makes no sense to me.

I've been promoting weight loss for a very long time. What has worked well for me are weight loss supplements that the user can get a free trial (usually 30 day supply) and they just pay S&H. So for $5-$8 they get $50-$60+ product.

To get the best conversions you want to promote what is hot...what is Dr. Oz talking about, etc...

I have also found that a pre-sell page drastically increases conversions.

Something to think about.

Well dont think so much if its the same with freebie .If your product its related to your freebie its not so bad .The problem its to deliver value to your customers .If you sell them a good product they will apreciate you and yhey will buy in the future from you .If you give them a crapy product some of them will unscribe and they will not buy so easy from you

Yes as Diablo has said, weight loss supplements can be very lucrative to promote.


If you look on sites such as Peerfly, they often pay per click or per sale.
If you are starting a diet themed website you could have ebooks on diet and also physical products for sale.


You can also branch out into fitness, Clickbank has plenty of diet and fitness ebooks you can promote for good commissions.
