How to Improve Blog Traffic?

Hi All,
I want to increase my blog traffic. Currently I am following all the below link building techniques.
• SBM in High PR Sites
• Directory Submissions
• Micro blogging
• Social Sharing
• Q & A
• Forums
• Blog Commenting
As these are all link-building methods, I am getting backlinks but not much traffic. Is there any strategy apart from these that I can follow to improve my blog traffic?
Please help me on this.

    Blog commenting and directory submissions will not really do you much good these days. Try to focus on creating good content on your blog and building up a following on social media by posting useful things.

    Also, publishing a few high quality guest posts on real sites that have proper traffic is a good way to get visitors, but don't do it just for the backlinks.

      Blog commenting can be really really really good at building friendships with power broker bloggers, which lead to stunning blogging success, if you write a 3-5 paragraph, in depth masterpiece, on top blogs from your niche. Commenting to make friends, not to get links, has been good to me Whenever folks doubt that, I tell them to look at my Seen At sidebar My writing and brand contributed of course but an outreach campaign based on blog commenting set everything up on the networking side of things.

    Traffic is the most important factor of your blog. Many have already given up blogging for want of enough traffic.
    So have to build such a blog that attracts enough visitors.
    Here you have shared some off page SEO techniques.
    But I think Off Page SEO is not enough for you, you have to do more.
    At first, focus on top quality content. Create such content that the people are looking for. Find out the trending topics that your audience are looking for.
    Do some keywords research before writing. Select the perfect keywords that low competitive. It helps you to get more organic traffic.
    Do one page SEO properly. Your title, URL, meta description, and more should be SEO friendly.
    Then try Off Page SEO.
    I think guest posting, forum posting, and social media sharing can be your best off page techniques. All these techniques are helpful to get top quality backlinks and promoting your blog around the world.

    How much traffic are you getting and what niche is this in?

    Have you done seo optimizing?

    It sounds like you've been doing good things. Maybe you just need to keep doing them and more often?

    It's not so much the methods Aswini but the skills you develop, through practice, which determines the quality and volume of traffic you draw to your blog.

    For example, I love blog commenting and guest posting. I also drive heavy traffic through each approach. But for many years, I wrote 4-7 paragraph, detailed, thorough, personalized comments to drive traffic to my blog.

    I also wrote and published over 1000 guest posts, because I have practiced writing 1000-10,000 words daily for years, to become super prolific.

    Love the note SiteNameSales mentions below too; the easiest way, and simplest way, and most direct way, to improve blog traffic is to write excellent, valuable, inspired content on your blog, staying on topic, for each post.

    Write 1000 words or more daily in a Word document, just for practice. This is the starting point to driving quality blog traffic.

    Content its king always but not only content you must add great content .Your strategies are good but try to make guest posts these are great in terms with rankings .In general what its more complicated with seo its the best .Also try to not focus only on seo for traffic promote also on social media to get some traffic and in this way you will boost your site a little bit

    You are trying to get SEO Traffic. Back linking if done wrong can damage your SEO success. I personally feel that any 'manipulative' method to get the search engines to give you traffic won't help you in the long run.

    Better you learn how to 'promote' that content instead.

    Just use the search feature above and type in promote content and you will start getting ideas on what to do to actually put your content in front of people who can use it.

    Lastly...

    As the guys said above...Make sure that if your content is value based if you want real people to visit your blog.

    Please cross out directory submission and social bookmarking these techniques are not helpful anymore. If you want to do link building for your site make sure that you are doing it right. How? Link only on relevant and high quality niche sites.

    With all the Google updates it is best to just write some quality articles and optimize it with the Yoast wordpress plugin (if you are using wordpress) Update your blog regularly with some more quality article then you are good to go. Any unnatural methods of building backlinks will only get your blog penalized by google.

    Like everyone else states, it starts with immaculate content.

    I hate networking. I don't consider myself any good at it. Guess what? Turns out, it's as crucial as creating content.

    I've been learning a lot about networking lately. Some say you need to spend as much time networking as you are creating content.

    I much prefer pumping out article after article, but it's not enough. You need to connect with others in your game.
