Refunds... Refunds everywhere

Hi,

I'm new here and need some help.

I posted WSO recently, more specifically, last night.

Already made 6 sales I think, but all are refunded.

WSO is an ebook.

Is this normal? Are people just misusing it since it's an ebook or it's something wrong with my account?

    Hi, I tried to purchase your wso, but Paypal cancelled the payment. When I checked my Paypal account, it said you're "Non-US-verified". Most likely you need to verify your Paypal account. I think the same thing may have happened with the other buyers. Hope this helps you.
    PS. I am really interested in your offer and would definitely purchase once this issue is fixed

      Thanks for letting me know. I never had issues with my Paypal account, it's verified, I received a lot of payments, only payments from WSO have this issue.

      I guess I'll have to call Paypal and talk to them.

          I asked here because it's happening only for payments for WSO, so I thought maybe someone had same issue as I. Maybe there's something in PP settings or warrior payments system that is making me troubles.

      Understand that with Warrior Payments, there are at least 3 Paypal accounts involved ( 1: the customer, 2: the seller, and 3: Warrior Payments).

      The customer shouldn't have to be PP verified, so the message in anntt's PP account could be related to YOUR PP account, or Warrior Payments PP account. What if it was an affiliate sale? There's another PP account thrown into the mix.

      Since it was a WSO, and that is the only place you have experienced problems, I think you should also put the question to Warrior Payments.

      They originated the transaction to PP, and they should have a record of all the transaction details (how many and which PP accounts were affected, and the verified status of each of those accounts).

        Thanks, I already submitted the ticket. I'm sure it's something related to Warrior Payments since I just got successful payment from elsewhere that haven't been reversed.

        Not sure what could be the problem, even if it's affiliate sale I would get my part, right?

    No he doesn't need more ways to collect payments. Pay Pal is good. What he needs to do is fix the problem with PP and Warrior payments...as he is now doing.

      This is weird, I was on phone with PP for 20 minutes, everything is fine with my Paypal account, they have no idea why all my payments for WSO get reversed immediately.

      Paypal claims my account is fine, accounts of users who tried to buy WSO is fine... It's something related to Warrior Payments...


      Anyone knows who should I contact here on forum regarding that?

        Just contact their support using the support link in the footer. Most of the time they acknowledge tickets.

      I have a solution for you...

      When you find a thread that (in your opinion) is unworthy, simply move on.

      Leaving a response like the one you left, simply marks the thread as "unread" for everyone else, and moves it to the top of the thread list. Everyone else comes along, sees that there is a new entry in the thread, and clicks on it only to find your totally useless response.

      If you find threads such as this one to be a waste of your time...
      stop wasting your time (you're in control here), and everyone else's time as well.

    Please keep us updated on your progress - if you are having problems, it might affect other sellers as well. Also interested in knowing whether the help desk is able to 'help' you resolve this.

    If one sale from elsewhere had no problem - and 6 of 6 sales through WarriorPay were refunded, I'd want to know why, too.

        Great thanks ironstill! You might see a test transaction from me later today. I'll look into the issue, no probs using your direct payment with PP, just note that we can't validate your sales on Warrior Payments though (reviews etc..) and it's the same experience as posting a WSO with a JVZoo, ClickBank, PayKickstart buy link, we unfortunately don't have the capacity to validate much as we don't have internal data.

        I'll test out the WSO and PM to you later today. When did you send the helpdesk inquiry? I'm concerned that if we didn't receive yours, we may have a bug that has prevented us from seeing others (please PM me the inquiry ID if you have that handy).

    Time for a version 2.0.

    Revamp it, make it way better than it was before. Change the look. Get more jv's and affiliates to promote for it. Give customers that already bought it a lower fee or free access.

    Then RERELEASE!!!!! Lol... but seriously.

        Next time list it on JVZoo or Warrior Plus. You'll be able to get way more affiliates to promote it and more people will see it.

        Nothing against Warrior Payments, but seems very buggy and most of the top affiliates promote from Warrior Plus and JVZoo.

        I've never had an issue with any payments coming through JVZoo or Warrior Plus, so I'm pretty sure it's a safe bet, and like I said, tens of thousands of affiliates on both platforms that could potentially want to promote your product.

        If it's a good one I'll promote it for you.

    In the world of "make money online" products there are lots of serial refunders because they know how 100% money-back guarantees work.

    They buy your product with the intention of refunding it. Simple as that.

    The only way to counter this is to not offer refunds but on many platforms, that's not an option.

    It sucks, but you have to deal with it.

    Try selling products in other niches and you won't have so many refunds.

          Excellent points and I agree with having at least a 30-day refund policy. I usually offer 30-60 days. If you have a quality product, there's no need to be scared of having a generous refund policy.

          Besides that, if you use PayPal as your processor, they allow the buyer 180 days to file a dispute on virtual/digital products, so if you deny the customer a refund, you could open yourself up to a lot of disputes and get yourself in hot water with the most popular payment gateway on the Internet.

          Refunds are a part of doing business. Every successful company allows refunds. If someone asks for a refund, give it to them. It's perfectly fine to ask them why so you can isolate potential problems with your products and fix them, but give them the refund first and then send them an email asking them what they did not like about the product. This shows professionalism and it also gives you an opportunity to get valuable feedback.

          My point is that maybe you shouldn't look at a refund request as a bad thing, but as rather an opportunity to gain information that you can use to improve your product.

          Also, you may even be able to retain the person as a future customer if you are willing to interact with them and address their concerns.

          As for "serial refunders," yes, they're out there, but not nearly to the point that some people make them out to be.

          I have very few refunds on any of my sales (both affiliate and vendor), and disputes are practically non-existent. Promote and create quality products that do what they promise and excessive refunds will not be an issue in your business.

          The OP obviously experienced a payment processing issue with the platform he listed his product on. It was not a reflection of the quality of his product.
