Alright so I am reading many many guides and have been doing for few months now. Now I read a guide which said mobile app installs or low payout affiliate offers pay out pretty good. Now then I went on Jvzoo and to think of promoting the top offers I thought would be really hard. Now I know you can make niche sites which I am also doing on the side, but that takes time to take off because your using free traffic. So now I am thinking of doing amazon affiliate marketing but, then what about the higher paying offers? I am wanting to do paid advertisements to drive traffic. Then I am stuck where to do WordPress websites or do some other platform thing because WordPress load times are pretty slow.

So should I do amazon affiliate + paid traffic + email marketing or would doing something like jvzoo + paid traffic + email marketing be more beginner friendly vs mobile offers + paid traffic + email marketing? Because a lot of people say amazon is easy and stuff, while others say mobile app installs are easiers while others say clickbank is easier for beginners.

Another thing, when your doing a thing alone, you won't get far if you were to work in groups or such. Does anyone know any discords made for affiliate marketing?

What you should do is find one strategy and stick to it!

In my experience it's better to do so than reading and trying to feed your brain with multiple ways of making money, instead when you have a proven way, focus and stick to that.

    Hope that helps!

It's only easy after you get paid.

There's a lot of work that has to be done for making money, at least upfront work. Don't fixate on easy and other folks hype, most are misleading in internet marketing so they get a kickback ($$).

Wordpress isn't slow, your theme is bloated. Get a theme that's not bloated and tone down the bloated WP plugins. I have very fast loading Wordpress sites and I don't even compress images.

You're in information overload mode right now.

My advice is forget everything and focus on the traffic source. You won't make a dime online unless you have a good traffic source. After you find a decent traffic source figure out what they're interested in and only then start looking for a product to sell. Don't get this backwards. Traffic source first.

      .
Those (Google, Bing and Facebook) still have a steep learning curve. You're not going to pay some small money and instantly profit. You'll have a lot of trial and error spread out over months which means you'll need some money to invest, money you can afford to lose. I guess you mean do PPC + build a website on a regular host.

I got 750 milliseconds for one of my Wordpress sites Home page loading time, the page has 18 large uncompressed images.

Faster than 93% of tested sites
You'll need to step through your theme and plugins to narrow down the slow plugins/theme.

First turn off all plugins and run a speed test. This will tell you If the WP theme is bloated/slow. If the theme passes the test, move onto each plugin, one at a time and run the test again and again and again until you get through all the plugins.

I don't use any of those plugins or the theme so I can't help you with that. You'll just have to do like I said above and run multiple speed test.

A lot of people, especially beginners, get mesmerized by 50%-75% commissions, and scoff at physical product sellers like Amazon.

There's a reason digital commissions are so high. They can be hard for a lot of people to sell or promote, and it takes the lure of that high percentage to attract any interest from affiliates.

As an affiliate, the only metric that really matters is EPC (Earnings Per Click). How much, on average, do you make from every click you send to the vendor?

For example, if you send 100 clicks and make $100, your EPC for the period is $1.00.

Yes, Amazon has a lower commission rate and a short cookie, but they sell stuff people actually want, they pay you for all purchases made while your cookie is in effect, and they work damn hard to get those extra purchases. Besides, 4% of a $1,000 purchase is $40, while 50% of a $47 purchase is only $23.50.

Take a WAG (Wild-Ass Guess) at which product category will get YOU the best EPC, and go for it.

Also my load times change dramatically when i use www.mydomain.com rather than mydomain.com. Also, on Pingdom it said to do this:

"Resources with a "?" in the URL are not cached by some proxy caching servers. Remove the query string and encode the parameters into the URL"

Also, when I removed all my plugins and changed to default theme the load time was like 2.29seconds...
