Internet marketing budget composition

Hi,

We have an online portal for travelers and residents to South Korea where we focus on travel packages and services like cellphone and SIM cards.

We have a government grant of $8000 that mandates its full spending on marketing needs within 2 months. It can't be spread out over a long-term period.

We don't want to spend all or even most on PPC and would rather invest in most more lasting gains like SEO, article development, link building, video development for YouTube, Instagram content development etc.

Can any of you recommend some savvy and wise methods to use this budget for long-term branding value and organic traffic generation?

Didn't you have a plan laid out and submitted to the government when you applied for the grant. Or did they just say. "Hey, here is 8 grand, market away" It is not easy to get a government grant. And, while most governments are not that bright, they do not part with their money easily. Follow the plan you submitted with your application

A bar of iron cost $5. Made into horseshoes, it's worth $12. Made into needles, it's worth $3500. Made into balance springs for watches, it's worth $300,000. Your value is determined by what you are able to make of yourself

Our overall grant was not limited to 8 million won. Just the marketing portion. We did specify aspects of use but we have discretion to adapt. Hence why we're seeking a refresh to see if we can optimize and update our government liaison. This isn't our first rodeo with respect to grants. Please let us know if you have any insights to contribute beyond grants, as that wasn't our original question. Cheers

Be careful of the people that will not try to take advantage of you. You will be solicited here asking them to contact them. You do say good by to that $8000 grand with know return. You don't have a solid marketing company in South Korea you can contact ? Look around who is advertising heavily and what works reach out to them for advice.

We regularly outsource and have been doing so since back in the early eLance days. We know about the pitfalls. We're just looking for some second opinions here to complement opinions we've sourced internally and through other channels.

It sounds like you are interested in seo or at least that's my impression. So why not search for seo services and hen ask specific questions around that?

Content marketing is the full proof way for long term profits. With your 8 grands, you can plan superb backlinking outreach campaigns for your website. No doubt it will need time depending upon your keywords. Still, if you want to handle marketing part by yourself and want to see results in upcoming months you need to plan properly.
