Help me convert - critique my page

So I have been lurking here and I decided to just jump into internet marketing. My plan is to start a lead gen business. I want to sell leads to final expense insurance agents.

My family owns and operates several funeral homes. My site has content based on the benefits of using insurance related products to plan for your final expenses. My lead magnet is a guide that promises to save thousands on your funeral.

The opt in form has back end software that will drop subscribers into different state specific lists. If a visitor from florida opts in, they will be placed in my florida list. If a visitor from california opts in, they will be placed in my california list.

I will have licensed life insurance agents be the recipients of each list. When my florida list gains a new subscriber, my florida agent will get the exclusive real time notification by way of my auto responder. I will charge a monthly fee per agent to receive my leads. Hopefully, I will have dozens of agents paying me monthly to be the exclusive recipient of the leads my site gains...

Help me convert. Critique my page. Thanks

Just advertise the guide. Prospects don't need all the additional info up-front.

For lead generation use this formula:

    Headline
    Subheadline
    Bullets of benefits
    Strong Call To Action

Roscoe, at this stage, drama can be your friend.

When my late brother-in-law passed several years ago, we had to drop everything and fly to Hawaii to settle his affairs. We had only a few days to arrange everything. He knew he was terminal, so he had some things in place, but he went several months earlier than expected.

We were not worried about a huge payout. But when everything settled down, the insurance he did have helped immensely.

When my wife's mother passed, we started getting dunning letters and calls from her doctors, the nursing home, etc. She had no insurance, so all we could do was tell them to make a claim against her estate, which, since she had already spent every penny she had on her last months, meant they got nothing.

Again, we weren't worried about a huge payout, but being able to deal with those calls by tapping the proceeds of a final expenses policy would have made life a lot easier.

It's okay to tell people they can save money, but in my opinion, positioning your end of days insurance as something that will help those left behind get through the loss might be more powerful.

you might want to try a 2 step optin process. they click a button and then receive the form fields. it increases the amount of people taking the first step of clicking the cta button, then once they've already taken the first action they're much more likely to complete the form.
