No, you should set up a complete selling system (some call this a funnel but it might just be a simple squeeze/offer) understanding what you're going to do from start to finish.


There is no average, no standard - every marketplace, every offer, every marketer is different. What one marketer does in his niche has no bearing on what you can or will do in your niche.


It's quite easy for some marketers that have compelling offers and very targeted traffic sources. For others with no experience it can be extremely difficult.


If you want to be a successful marketer, sooner or later you just don't worry about what others are doing . . . you just roll up your sleeves and get to work learning and growing and getting better at marketing as you experience what works for you and what doesn't.

Conversion is the hidden secret of IM, you might need dig for relevant place to learn, clickbank is one of the good place to learn about it.

There is loads of good traffic methods you can do. I suggest picking one or two to focus on and master... And one you really enjoy and taking from there.

Facebook is the best place to get traffic, but do not direct link any affiliate offer in Facebook, Create a landing page and promote your offer.

I think everything can be useful, but only if we have the right way for it. If our way is correct then not just Facebook, but any option will be helpful. We just have to make sure we have the content and after, it's also important to plan to generate traffic.

Normally with Facebook you need to send the visitors to a landing page (or squeeze page) first to help pre-sell them.

I've been promoting PPL offers for almost 17 years.

What type of offers are you looking at promoting?

Never direct link, at the bare minimum use a redirect that way you control the traffic.

I drive traffic by aquiring fresh / targeted 3rd party email data, which is data that users have shown an interest in a specific niche (PPL offer) and have provided permission to receive messages from third parties. I get the opt-in record of all users and it's 100% can-spam compliant.

Unlike most marketers always spending their money trying to get traffic, I spend it on data because it's an asset that I then own and I can market to the users over and over at low cost.

3rd party data is rarely as responsive as a high-quality opt-in list. So to compensate you have to work with higher volume. This isn't an issue because 3rd party data is much cheaper and highly scalable compared to building opt-in lists. The key to making it work is to always be collecting your opens / clickers, segmenting and removing unresponsive users. Essentially you are converting the data from quantity to quality.

Since PPL offers don't require a credit card / purchase to complete an offer, they typically convert much higher than offers that require a sale. So basically what I'm really doing is monetizing the data using PPL offers because they offer the path of least resistance to generating conversions / $$$ and converting the data into cash producing assets.

There is a lot more to it, but done right it is extremely profitable.

Something to think about.

You need to first trying to stop trying to take shortcuts. If you really want to succeeed, then forget about direct linking. You are going to get very few signups for the time and or money that you spend on direct link campaigns.

There is a reason people will pay you to get other people to give them their email address!

Email marketing still works because these people are only paying for this traffic 1 time. Once people join their lists, then they don't have to pay to find them again.

They can simply send their next offer to their lists.

Knowing this is a fact...You should start building a list, instead of direct linking to cpa offers.

You can then send promo emails to your cpa offers over and over again, without paying (with time or money) to find them again.

In short..Stop direct linking right now!!!
