Hello Folks. I am an absolute newbie. Thanks to 2 fellow irish members of the forum, I have been reading some well written ebooks. However I become almost overwhelmed with self doubt when i try to be proactive and take action

Any tips on how to help overcome this?

Thanks

You just gotta try something. If it doesn't work, pick yourself up and try again and keep doing it until you make your first $1 or cent. Might take a while, might take a day but until you take action you will never know what it's like to make money online.

You'll be over the moon for that first $1

    TAKE ACTION

Here's what worked for me. Completely set aside any expectation of a specific outcome from your actions and do the actions for the purposes of learning how to market online. Don't worry about if anyone buys your stuff; don't worry about if anyone signs up for your list. See it as a practice exercise for the first few months and just have fun playing with it.

The more action you take, the more comfortable you're going to get with it and then you'll start to build up a belief in yourself - "Hey, I CAN do this!"

And when that first sale comes in, WHOOP! What a feeling.

The only reason you're doubting yourself is because the whole process seems so daunting. It's unlike anything you've ever done before, but trust me when I say that there are literal idiots making money online. You can too. (Not that you're an idiot, I don't mean that...LOL!)

When you read a book. Note it in paper and act.
Be sure to make a plan and focus on that.

Can't hurt to ask your 2 friends - maybe over a pint - to mentor you. Assuming they're in a position to be a mentor, of course. If you feel the need to go it alone, then Ross and Michael are right. Pick one thing and take action. Give it your entire focus. See it through to the end. You will learn a lot about the process, even if the end result is a dud.

    Hi there...

It happend to me too before

But, maybe i can share a little of my experience how to do the action...
Wel, you can try to do the action in a tiny step. If you feel that you can make the big step, then do it just a tiny step, consistently.

just for example only, when you want to write article, you feel like its hard like hell and you feel like you don't have time to do it..., then do it in tiny steps even it only a 5 minutes a day or maybe a paragraph long a day.
Of course you can do it in other case too instead on writing article...
You will feel that with a tiny steps, its very possible to do and it will give you a spirit to go on :>

The key is : never stop even a day to improve. even its only an hour or maybe only 5 minutes a day, you'll be surprised with what you can do with that only little time :>

    Hope it helps :>

Definitely some great tips. We all get down, have "analysis paralysis" and doubt ourselves. What you need is nice dose of personal victory my man!

    1) Get focused and resist the "shiny new thing" syndrom
    2) pay REALLY close attention to the ebooks you read and choose what interests you most
    3) Pick one thing and go at it until it makes money
    4) Find a mentor (don't rush in and ask for help unless you are paying for it). Ask what YOU can do for them to help make their life easier.
    5) DON'T focus on money. It will come. Focus on building relationships
    6) Give first, take second
    7) find a good walk through course that covers a specific method taught by a respected warrior, drop EVERYTHING except that course and follow the method until it produces results.

pm me if you like as I know a guy with a great course like that.

    8) never give up
    9) get started
    10) NEVER give up :-)

I spent almost 2 years in the same spot as you. Analyzing everything till I couldn't even see straight. Then I happen to discover the 30 Day Challenge. This step by step process got me pointed in the right direction. I started the first of Aug. this year and haven't looked back.

I don't do everything right and no I haven't made a million dollars yet, but I have gotten some opt ins to my funnel and I know the more I keep working and taking daily steps that I will reach my first goal of making $1.

My problem was I need a little hand holding in the form of a step by step that #1 didn't cost an arm and leg. #2 Made me take action now. This is exactly what I got.

So stop reading the emails and PDF's and go over the 30 DC and get started right now! It won't cost you a dime and it is truly awesome training.

In the next 10 days you will be a changed man! In the next 30 days you may be making money. Either way you'll be glad you did it.

    Hi Irishfella,

As you've seen, there is some top-notch advice in this thread.

    Let me add another tip.

You have already taken action by posting here. Don't laugh - it counts. I have chatted with many people who were too afraid to take that step.

Anyway, my tip is this: Make inertia work for you.

Do anything to move forward, such as posting here; then do something else, even a small thing. Continue doing it. Get the ball rolling.

    All the best,
    Michael

      Hello Irishfella...

It's a common problem - so you're not alone. You've already received some rock-solid advice from some great achievers here.

I'd just like to add one thing... and that is to make your dreams bigger than your doubts. Choose one thing and make a commitment to mastery. There are lots of ways to get wherever you want to go. The good thing about it is there's something that's a good fit and you just have to find it and STICK WITH IT. The bad thing about having so many options is going off in multiple directions and getting nowhere.

Choose your destination and commit to getting there. Decide on a vehicle and do it. Don't let up when it doesn't happen in a day or a week. Give it your all and keep giving as you hone your skills. Avoid checking in every day to see how you're doing, or you might get discouraged. But 'keep on keeping on' and the tide will turn. One day you'll awaken and see tangible results for your efforts. Consistency with one method will produce results.

Keep your mental focus on the target, not the conditions.

      Robert
