Why are Most IM Products Gimmicks?

It seems 95% of any internet marketing/make money online offers are hyped up gimmicks or some sort of scam. It really annoys me to see people buying these products expecting to really be able to make money... I was in this position once long ago and although I learned after buying my first make money product it really did make me question internet marketing. For awhile I quit IM because I thought the whole make money online thing was a huge joke.

Luckily I kept going and soon after started making money and have been ever since... But think about how many people have turned away from internet marketing because of these products...

Seems to me most IM products are how to make money selling clickbank products via PPC or article marketing or blogging or whatever products. I don't think I have ever seen a scam online yet.

If you learned after buying your first make money product then why did you question internet marketing? Was it because you didn't make money right away?

I don't think any of them are scams...I think that most people won't apply what they learn or don't apply what they learn the right way.

I feel you man. Although I don't necessarily think there are a million products out there that should be deemed as 'scams', I do see why you are using that word. Although I don't own every product I've been able to watch, read, or listening to through borrowing from friends, I'm glad I never bought almost all of them.

The quality of even some of these 'top guru's' in IM is just stupid. I really think that IM such a new and mysterious thing for people to learn about when they first start to seek out information, that they'll pay at least a good chunk of money buying something that is available for free just searching around online, but those people don't know exactly how to go about finding that information at first.

I really think the more you get into IM the less you have to buy information products about IM, and you can spend more time actually implementing, inventing, and discussing and learning and networking from and with other people actually doing IM related things, rather than listening to 'guru x' and his new sure fire method to a 10,000 a month income based solely on using Twitter for traffic.

Again, so may products I've watched don't touch content I've seen presented by people on the WarriorForum, or a lot of articles on blogs and various other websites too.

Yeah I agree that most IM products are NOT scams, although a lot of them dp try to lure you into thinking that becoming wealthy with IM is really easy and doesn't take much work. The thing with IM products is there is always a "new" and "better" product coming out that is supposed to teach you everything the others haven't.

In reality, your hard work and perseverance will pay off and that is the backbone for success in IM.

So far the best product I have paid for that had really helped me the most with IM is Wealthy Affiliate. No sales plug intended.

HOLY COW.. what are people meant to call their products?

    HOW TO NOT MAKE MONEY?????

If a person knows how to make money and they want to share that... that doesnt make it a scam

Sure there are some NOBS out there selling crap, pure and simple but you can usually spot them half a block down the road

But there are many legit folks on this forum and online who sell quality information which helps people

Well done thats the way to do it... that way you concentrate on getting good at doing one thing.

Jumping from one method to another is going to confuse the crap out of most people. the only way to get er done is to blank out everything but the one method you have chosen to apply. (APPLY being the operetive word here)

You should check if the author is really has experience on the matter because the big fault of newbies creates their own make money online reports but has no experience in the real money making aspect. So it leads to nothing.

I believe the problem is simple, people think that to make money online you don't need to do any work. Its a business you need to work at it and grow. Like the author of this thread, it took a while but does work.

And most products lead them to believe that it is. A majority of products out there are made by people that aren't truly successful at what they are pitching. In the end, just like with all products, it is the burden of the consumer to research a product to make a unbiased, educated decision.

    Hello,
Take one internet marketing product and get just one money making idea from it and run with it.
I have taken many junk products and spun them into pure gold.
If you can figure out the same you will be way ahead of the game.

    Something new soon.
