Hi Warriors,
My message is especially for new warriors. There is no ill intention and I am not bad mouthing about anyone in particular. That is why I have not mentioned the person name and software name. If moderator feels this message should not be here by all means please remove it as I don't want to be banned from this forum. This is THE BEST FORUM on internet and WAR ROOM is great. I can't express in words that how much I have learned from this forum itself. As a newbie in IM world, I was lost and wasted lot of money before I landed in to this forum. Another thing I can say is that the amount Allen is charging for war room, you can get much more value of it in the first day itself. So please don't ban me for this message.

But other than good things there are things I would like to share here so that new warriors can learn from my experience. First of all if there is no unconditional 100% guarantee, RED FLAG straight away. To cut it short no matter how much convincing it is please don't go for it. Secondly if you see the guarantee like "If XXXX isn't as powerful as I've promised you is it, and it doesn't do everything I say it does, simply drop me an email for a full and prompt refund" Extra-Extra cautious. I was looking for some article re-writer software and landed into some site where there was $30 discount for warriors. I saw the video and purchased the software. But after installing it realized it's not what I was looking for. Sent few mails and PM in the forum but no reply after couple of days. So first time in my life I activated the dispute in the PayPal. Later owner explained that due to Internet problem he was not able to answer.

And the owner is saying that "it clearly shows that I enter the data manually. I do copy and paste behind the scenes, but this is to save time for the viewer. I'm not a good typist. The video is captioned, and I reviewed it prior to replying to this dispute. At 1:35 in the video it says 'add your own alternate phrase here'. No hint of automation at all. At 1:46 it says 'Here's a few I did earlier'. That clearly states that I did the work here. In the sales copy, point out that XXXX is NOT an automated system; it works in conjunction with your brain."

In the sales page YES it is mentioned that it works in conjunction with your brain (there is no such thing in this world where you don't have to use your brain). But NOT mentioned at all that system is NOT AUTOMATED. My mistake is that I was not EXTRA CAUTIOUS. I read the testimonials on the sales page and saw the video which is WITHOUT VOICE and I missed out one part where it says 'add your own alternate phrase here'. I was so convinced with the testimonials and viewing the video and missed out one part. End up wasted my hard earned USD67. Because sales page is giving the impression that software is automated and I personally feel that if there is no ill intention from the owner, then he MUST mention in the sales page clearly that software is NOT AUTOMATED.

Since I am also at fault so I closed the case in PayPal and considered it as resolved.

I am not saying that software does not work or testimonials are wrong. It is good for the writers who can write their own phrases. In that part software does a good job. For each phrase you write few of your own phrases and software can give you excellent results in few seconds. But not good for newbie like me who can't get anything out of this software.

Lessons Learned:
1.Don't buy any informational product or software where there is no 100% unconditional guarantee.
2.Search the warrior forum completely for reviews of the product no matter how good the sales letter is. Majority of the Warriors will give fair opinion.
3.Don't pay 100% in advance for services or project no matter how GOOD that person is.

Cheers!
Rajesh

Well true, a good thing is to pay 50% upfront (or less) and come to an agreement that you will not pay full unless you are fully satisfied with your product anyways. This is how people can easily get ripped off when buying things, and I understand that, because the deals sound so great.

But remember that saying "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" especially, as you mention, if there is no guarantee. But these days, I think guarantee's are leading in the IM world, as fewer people are choosing products that DO NOT have a guarantee.

These day and age, I think anyone who doesn't have it, is behind, and is likely a real scammer- as I haven't really seen anyone who doesn't have some sort of guarantee like that. Even clickbank requires that you follow their return policy (thus creating a guarantee to refund their money), and many other popular affiliate websites have it as well.

Thus, one would just have to automatically think that if a person didn't have a guarantee, that they are likely in it to screw a few people over. but it seems you have learned from your mistakes.

I myself have yet to file anything with paypal like that, and i have heard it's a difficult process? Kindof shady, have you reported them to websites like those scam ones or anything? To warn people?

You could also consisder doing that.

Process is simple. open a dispute, write a note to the seller and it will go to paypal as well. I have mentioned the website in question. This is the first case of unhappiness where I paid by PayPal. In other cases I used direct credit card transactions so can't do much. But one thing good about opening a dispute with paypal is that it will force seller to respond quickly whereas seller has not responded to my PM and mail in few days due to internet connection problem. And everything is recorded officially in PayPal records.
