What is your FINAL AIM?

We are marketers.

Build lists, nurture leads, sell items we trust.

And make money.

BUT what is your FINAL AIM with Internet Marketing?

Are you doing this for the same purposes you had when you started it?

Or do they change? What are these now?

I've started it for make money online, give it a try, tried a lot of system and then land to the one which works: email marketing.

I did it mainly for collecting some bucks initially, for being independent, then for financial freedom, and now my final aim is to invest time and dedicate money and life to spread Transcendental Meditation to the World, travel a lot and conduct deep researches in a lot of fields not connected to IM itself.

And you?

I want to build decentralized applications on top of Ethereum. I didn't start out this way though.

My aim has been fully met. Formally retired on my birthday, next month. I've been practicing pretty well getting ready for the occasion for the past 11 months.

Of course I say this every year, but this year I mean it as I am now officially older than dirt.

    Sex, drugs and rock n' roll - - - - - - here I come. Outta my way!

    Thank you.

        Thank you, sir!

I plan to live forever and fortunately worrying about prospering is no longer a concern. :-)

        Cheers.

My final aim is to totally enjoy my recent retirement spending part of my time learning and making extra cash marketing. The rest of the time I'm spending doing whatever I feel like doing answering to absolutely no one.

      Retirement:

      re·tire·ment
      rəˈtī(ə)rmənt/
      noun
      noun: retirement; plural noun: retirements

      1. the action or fact of leaving one's job and ceasing to work. "a man nearing retirement"

      (That would be me). :-)

Here's a secret: when you do things you choose to do and love it . . . you're not working . . . you're enjoying freedom because you don't want to do anything else. IM allows you to get paid doing exactly what you would do if you had no need of the money! You just have to set things up right.

You can put lipstick on a pig, put a tight black dress on it, teach it to dance and take it for a night out on the town. It's still a pig.

If you're working to earn money, whether you love it or not - you're NOT retired. You're still working.

Words have meaning beyond being a 'concept.' The meaning of words cannot be refuted. They mean what they mean or you are fast on the road to vocabulary anarchy. :-)

          Thank you.

My simple point is this: There is nothing wrong with work - it can be a delight if you really want to do it.

"Ceasing work" is your definition of retirement . . . but not mine. And for me, my definition is what counts!

I'm retired, enjoying my freedom, and doing what to some would be "work" but I don't see it that way because it's not work to me. And I get paid to do what I do.

            Thank you.

Congratulations. You just rattled-off three of the most dishonest and untrustworthy types of people known to man.

My simple point is this: There is nothing wrong with work - it can be a delight if you really want to do it.
A point which was never raised and I would never disagree with.

"Ceasing work" is your definition of retirement
No. It's Merriam-Webster's definition, hence it's the only one rooted in pure fact.

. . . but not mine. And for me, my definition is what counts!
Ah, so we're back to your 'concept' of what the word means - to you, which is utterly meaningless to the rest of the world

I'm retired, enjoying my freedom, and doing what to some would be "work" but I don't see it that way because it's not work to me. And I get paid to do what I do.
Once, again - you are not retired. You are simply looking for a way to validate your concept of 'being retired.' We get it, but that still doesn't change reality. Arguing a point that can't be sensibly argued is well you know - work! Ain'tchew tired yet, from all that work? :-)

I'd love to stay and debate the point further, but being retired, I'm hopping into my new convertible and heading to Cape May for some Cherrystones on the half-shell and a couple ice-cold bottles of Stella Artois.

              THAT'S retirement.

              You're welcome.

I'm pretty sure his goal was, "Total world domination.' Nothing gained through annihilation. :-)

Damn I miss that guy's brilliance, straightforwardness and common-sense solutions to life's most vexing problems.

      Whatever happened to him???
