How to Create an "A Little Birdie Told Me" Gift Message?

My product is often given as a gift. For example, my Quilt Shop Cuckoo Clock. Can't tell you how many husbands have told me they were tickled to find it as they are always on the hunt for something special for their wives. S, I'd like to make it easier for them.

I'm looking for a way to make it easy for a person who sees my ad on Facebook or is on my web site to send an email (text, Messenger...) to their hubby or kids. I'd make it sweet and from me, something like, "A little birdy told me Elsie would love to have this clock to hang on her wall to make her smile every day... "

Automation would be great, but if I do it through Mail Chimp it goes into that dreaded other tab.

Any thoughts?

    "Tell a friend" scripts used to be very popular until spammers abused them.

    Perhaps something like that could be adapted for this. Since you aren't 'subscribing' people, you shouldn't need to go through an ESP to send a one-time email.

    Most ecommerce stores have a wishlist built into them. Check with yours and see if they have it. I used to use 3dcart and people were able to create a wishlist and send it to people via email

    Maybe it has to manual on my end. A button on the product page that a person clicks and fills out the email address of the person. Plus perhaps if its for a birthday or whatever occasion and the date. Then it is emailed to me. Certainly involves work, but since my products range from $400 to $800 and these will be super hot prospects, it could easily be worth it.

      In your original post you want to make it easy for someone to send email to someone else for gift idea. Now in this post you want the email to go to you. First Why? let it just go to the gift giver. Like I said most ecommerce solutions have the wishlist feature which allows this. Unless you have a self coded site, then you will need to get a script. you could go to a site like upwork and hire that out

        I checked out all the wishlist plugins I could find and, of course, none do what I need. So yes, Upwork is the way to go. I think with such a high dollar item it will be worth it. Thanks!
