Advice Needed on How to Sell a Traffic Membership

I have a traffic membership site set up with 33 traffic packages covering just about every form of traffic there is. I was planning to set it up as a $1 trial for 7 days and then a monthly $17.

The way it works is...

I was going to give away 200 free videos (8 traffic packages) on a $1 trial and then after the 7 days are up I was going to unlock one new traffic package a month for 12 months. So a $17 a month membership. Unsure if I am giving away too much here for free.

I am also thinking to just charge a one off $17 with access to all videos and not have a membership. So for a $1 trial they would get the 200 videos for free for 7 days and then if they don't cancel it would be a one off $17 with access to all other traffic packages. So no monthly membership here.

Appreciate any advice on the way to go with this.

    You don't say how long the videos last, but 200 seems a lot to take in on a 7-day trial.

    I'd be inclined to reduce the number available on the trial - even to just 1 or 2 - and unlock the rest on signing up as a member.

      In that case, 10 - 20 videos for the 7-day trial should be plenty.

      Another option is to forget the trial and allow new members full access for $1 for the first month after which the rate becomes $17 a month. Make it clear that you'll be adding regular new packages.

        Would a $1 trial and then a one time $17 work?
        So then it would not be a recurring membership.
        I have heard some don't like drip fed content and would rather have access to all.

          Depends on what your plans are. If you're going to be adding new videos on a regular basis, a membership model makes sense. If not, you can experiment with different one-off price points until you find the sweet spot.

          Alternatively, offer access to a set number of the existing 200 videos split over, say, a 12-month period and charge $17 a month, but in tandem with that, full, immediate access to all videos for $47 (as an example).

          Lots of ways you could play this.

      you will just be disappointed....

      how to get more traffic has been rehashed over, and over again from one marketing site to another since the dawn of the internet....
