What niche is your blog in?

    How stable is your traffic?

First, setting up a blog is fine, but have you defined (at all) what kind of "Ideas, tips,
and guides" you will be promoting? As mentioned, what is your "Niche"? Why are you
online? How do you want to help people? What do you want to share with others that
might help them solve a problem that they may have?

Your question is very broad and generalized. You need to figure out some of
    the basics.

What you are going to get here are a lot of varied answers posted
in your thread, and none or all of them may be the right thing for you.

Use the search function (top right in black navigation bar) to find some
of the basics that may help you. You must narrow down what you are
    trying to create.

Years ago, you could have gotten away with a more general approach, but
in today's internet marketplace, there is no more room for being generalized.
The focus is now on being very specific, and very targeted - at least
    in the marketing world.

    Hey palashtd

I agree with what these guys before me said, but of course i'll throw in my two cents.

I've been a copywriter for the past 7 years and what I have found is that it is best to promote products that are either:

    1. Basic necessities

    2. Pain points

In other words, you want to stick to products that people need and products that are really a pain point. An example would be a weight loss product, phobia of public speaking, etc.

Clickbank has tons of these and most of them have really nice banners and affiliate tools to help you sell more.

    I hope this helps!

Step #1 - Work on your site until you have consistent traffic.

Step #2 - Start looking for ways to monetize that traffic.

To which I would add my favorite - passions. Not necessarily yours, but if yours align with your target market, it's a bonus.

For example, golfers. It's not out of bounds to say passionate golfers will buy almost anything that promises to shave a few strokes off their game or make them look cool at the first tee at the country club.

Anglers are the same way. I've been chasing finny critters for over fifty years, and you can still gain my attention with something new to me. I may not buy, but I will hear you out. (My wife might argue with the 'may not buy' part. )

When you solve someone's pain point, where do you go from there? You can start throwing mud at the wall, hoping to find a new pain point, I suppose.

This question can lead to anywhere. And has been answered literally over a thousand times on this forum. The bad news is that there isn't enough space here to teach and explain to you the answer to your question. But you can use the search function, free wso's, wso's themselves, and the internet to quickly and easily find the simple answer that you will believe in your heart.
