Using text-to-speech in online courses

Hi!

I´d like to do online course on couple of topics. My problem is my bad pronunciation because english isn´t my main language.

What is your take on using text-to-speech for audio + screencasting in online video course? Any other options there? Write the text and outsource audio production? Latter one could be pretty costly..

    I hate text to speech. If I click on a video or audio and I get that computer generated voice I click right off. That is just my opinion though.

    Personally I would outsource audio.
