      Ashen,

The fact that you paid $49 already is really irrelevant to how you should spend your money in the future. It's a "sunk cost" - it's gone - and it has no bearing on whether money spent going forward is well spent or not.

Should you now pay $49 to create your first CB product? Of course that all depends upon you, how good you are at creating valuable products, marketing them, and getting paid in return for them. No one in a public forum can foresee what you are going to create and whether you'll be able to sell it for a positive return or not.

I can tell you this: hundreds of thousands of new profitable products have been created without the owner paying CB. And by the mere fact that you're asking random people on a public forum how you should spend your money . . . I would say it's probably not a wise investment, at least at this point in your career. It sounds as though you don't have a real plan in mind for what or how you're going sell anything. Spend some learning time on the forum and understand what this business is all about first.

The best to you going forward,

Agreed. Sounds like you don't have a marketing plan yet. You need to know your numbers - and your business/niche. This alone plus a small $200 in test ads should let you know where to invest your money for the long haul.

IMO - CB is still the best among all affiliate networks. People simply got used to it and found it viable.
As for your question, if you have something interesting in your niche, then of course you should try. I have few products on CB and I found this place great not only for selling it, but also building a bigger list.

    Good luck!
    V.
