Best ways to promote betting companies

Hey guys,

Thought id pick your brains! To anyone here who does well from promoting Betting companies (Sportsbooks/Bookmakers and/or casinos) would you mind sharing what works well for you?

Im looking to find new ways and areas to promote my website, its not a sportsbook, but it will attract the similar sort of people, so my theory is if something works well for promoting bookies it would work well for my site! Any help and tips would be very much appreciated!

Thanks
Joe

    Joe,

So what have you already tried? How have you promoted your web site?

You are probably going to be underwhelmed with the candid discussion of members here who have both been successful and are your niche competitors. Does that make sense?

Well I mean we do OK, we have tried:
Social media marketing (running competitions etc)
    Banner advertising(Waste of time!)
We have paid for sponsored/pinned posts on sports forum(Works great! But not many forums left that will allow us to work with them).
We have an affiliate network, they send us a ok amount of traffic but would love to gain more affiliates and as many as possible really!(Using iDev)
We have tried email marketing (Again waste of time)
We have tried sponsored articles on student news sites. Done 2 one was a great success and another time was a flop!

Yeah I gathered it wouldn't be a massively popular subject here but if you dont ask you will never know haha!

It's just that I'm not sure how many members here are
      1. In niches where betting is conducted. There may be a few, but probably not many.
      2. Experienced and making money in those niches. As I alluded to in my previous post, I would be very surprised if people in the niche that are making good money would share their promotion secrets with a competitor.
      Good luck to you,
