    Stephanie,

The best help I can give you is to suggest your go right now and read the forum rules about self promotion in the main forum.

Beyond that, and Steve gave good advice because it's easy to overstep the boundaries with a question like this, here's a two step approach.

    1. Be your own first affiliate.

In other words, you be the guinea pig for any marketing aids you develop for affiliates. Test them yourself and keep stats, the most important of which is EPC (Earnings Per Click). EPC tells potential affiliates what they might expect to make for each click they send to your sales page.

If you can get the EPC over $1.00, finding good affiliates should be simple. Time for step 2.

    2. Approach active affiliates who already promote similar programs.

Think review sites (legit ones), blogs, social media influencers, etc. Introduce yourself and tell them about your program.

Personalize this by telling them why you selected them for contact. This is important, because effective professional affiliates get approached a lot, mostly with templated bulk pitches. They go over their email with one finger on the delete key.

Mention your EPC, any marketing aids you provide, etc..

Ask them if you should be working together.

This approach admittedly takes more work than simply listing your program on the various affiliate platforms and crossing your fingers. But it works because a lot of wannabe vendors won't put in the effort.

      Thanks for the advice, John!
What is the best way to get my own EPC? Is there a certain website/company you recommend?

The best I've found is to assign a tracking ID to your own "affiliate" efforts. Then, when acting as your own affiliate, use the affiliate link/ID to send people to the next step.
