Internet Marketing - A Little Tweak Lead To Massive Results

Hi warriors!

In your internet carrier, what was one of the most positive impact?

For me, it was one phase. After i read it and applied it, my sales went up.

Here it is: "It's Not What You Sell, It's How You Sell It".

So true!

For me it was " Make your Own Traffic "

But About Selling , I am 50% Ok with "It's Not What You Sell, It's How You Sell It" because it is completely fine when you sell good or high quality stuff, But if it is not good quality it will affect the long term profits.

That's true man. But nowadays there are a lot of good products out there and its still difficult to make sales with a lot of us. Seems like a lot of us selling same products.

So what's make different here is :" how we sell it" i think

How you sell something is important for sure ...
However if what you sell isn't
valuable/helpful/etc. then it isn't all that
    great. (JMO)

One of the most "important" lessons I learned
is to provide tremendous "value" to your
    Market/Customers/etc.

If you can get People/Customers talking about
your Product (and recommending it to their
    Friends) then it's always a plus ...

I suppose the "point" is that "valuable content"
is just as important as marketing .. Include that
(with your Salesmanship advice) ... And I think
it would be a good combination.

Awesome! Yeah thats where I really started to grasp the importance of the optimization phase. Always start small with your changes to see where your at. Even something as simple as a image change can spin the campaign around.

I would say that the smallest tweaks that led to the biggest results for me were simple changes that I made to my squeeze pages over time.

In some cases, simply changing a few words in the squeeze page headline led to conversion rate improvements of more than 10%.

I would say that if you are a list builder/email marketing, split testing and tweaking your lead capture pages is probably one of the most important things you can do for your business.

Agree! I focus on small details, and it always works like magic, not only for me, but for my clients' as well. I believe the 'actual' profit is in the details.

"Find out what people want to buy, then sell it to them."

Or, paraphrasing yours, "It's Not What You Sell, It's How You Sell It - and Who You Try To Sell It To".

So how do you sell lawnmowers to people that live in apartments?

Haha. I know what you mean.

The idea here is not like that. The idea here is not trying, focusing on letting the prospect know what do we have then sell them nomallly. But focussing on the way we sell it to them instead (here we have to have the right thing to sell to almost the right people - for sure, because nowadays it's so competitive and in online industry, our prospects cannot touch or see the products, it's not really simple to sell them)

      Hope this make sense

Repackage the product as a 70's killer.. so the apartment dweller can modernize / trim the shag carpet!

I don't know about lawnmowers, but when my wife and I were first married we lived in a brick apartment house. Seemed like once a week someone tried their darnedest to sell us aluminum siding. I tried telling them it was an apartment building and we were just tenants, but they seemed to think that if we got their "free evaluation" we would see the light.

I finally gave in one night and scheduled the sales call - I mean 'evaluation' - and gave them the address. About 15 minutes after he was supposed to arrive, I got a call from the salesman. He thought he wrote the address wrong, because the address he had was a big brick apartment house.

He wasn't happy when I told him that I'd been telling their appointment setters that for months, but they didn't believe me. We never heard from that company again, but it didn't stop others from trying.

You'd think having "Apartment 107" in the address would give them a clue...

When I first began online, I spent a lot of time thinking about how I could produce the greatest products and services that I would use myself. I thought if I could use it . . . other people could benefit from it as well.

I learned pretty quickly that I wasn't my audience. Forget what I want in a product or service - what my audience wanted was very often quite different. I learned that prospects will tell you, very clearly, what they want!

Selling is about your prospects' wants and desires. Listen to them, cater to them, encourage them, lead them where they want to go.

The best to all of you IMers!

Some really good words of wisdom. And yet so many go against this sometimes when trying to figure out what to promote..."oh I wouldn't buy that" or "why would anyone want that."

I said the same thing about the Squatty Potty and look what happend lol

A good salesman would sell something they need even if they CAN sell sand in sahara.

I bet the hit rate and the profits would be way higher if you sell ice in the desserds and something to keep you warm to the eskimo's.

      It's all about targeting
