Dear All,

I have got high-quality safety reflectors in a form of a soccer ball sitting at Amazon FBA.

Question # 1:

Is it better to advertise it to moms whose sons play football.

Or is it better to target FIFA fan groups?

Question # 2:

How to quickly learn how to set up FB ad campaign - am a total newbie.

THANK YOU!

Have you done any market research into this niche?

If not, you should. Your research will give you obvious clues about who is buying in this market, what exactly they are looking to purchase, and where you can find these people online. It will tell you who the competition is, what they are selling, and most everything else that you should know prior to expecting to make sales.

Do some homework, use the search function of the forum, and read all you can about market research. All your questions will be answered. This should be one of the initial steps that every marketer should take before launching a product or service.

Hi, Anna! Why do not you promote your products for both audiences. You should to run the promotion campaigns setting both options and then compare the results.
About your second question, I think you should practice with Facebook ads manager account some time to learn how is right to set ad compaing.

    Good luck!

It is better if you do a marketing research first on your target audience. Getting ads on facebook is easy and flexible but targeting your ads will be a challenge because you will be investing money on it. So, first thing you can do best is to do a market research.

You might want to research the competition before spending much on ads. $20 for one 2 inch reflector may be a hard sell on Amazon...

You're right, Kay, just thought could charge since mine is originally invented and manufactured in Finland. Will have to emphasize or change the price in case a customer is not convinced : ) Thank you!

made in Sweden with 3M Scotchlite reflective material on both sides. The reflector is EN13356 compliant.
I think it's very close to the same thing and it looks like the other ad is for 2 reflectors for the price quoted....didn't see "2" listed but I think customers would expect that as the image is not of a single item.

The competing product is important - same selling platform. You don't want to pay for ads if what you are doing is promoting the competition.

You could do a short Facebook live with you doing a demo of the product. After that, you could boost or promote the post to people in your specific niche. Or, you could make a short video with people giving testimonials about what they liked about the product. In either case, you would want to try out the sponsored ads. Just my two cents.

Create a Facebook Page, and post regularly. While posting on Fb always use hashtags.
