Trusting a solo ad provider that doesnt ask for an email swipe?

This person is offering me .30 clicks, she said shed start my order after she finishes the one shes doing now, so i said "ok, in the mean time, im going to fix my swipe copy while I wait" she says, "ok, but give me your paypal email and link!" i asked her if she needed an email swipe and she hasnt replied... its a little fishy, a solo ad without a swipe, well to me anyway, how would people know what they are clicking on without some sort of ad? unless shes just sending bot traffic to my link... any input? thanks

This is a definite concern with solo ads.

Will they run your swipe or just run something generic they know is good at producing clicks.

If you read the fine print, many will say that it is up to their discretion if they run your swipe or not.

You could ask to see their squeeze pages to get an idea of the users they have on their list and then sign up or try and find without asking. Then you can see how they run their operation and if they use any shady methods to get clicks.

Your gut feeling is you're about to lose money, so move on, forget about it.

How did you find this person? Is it someone who's involved in the niche or just selling random traffic?

Thank you guys for the replies! Really helped... She did in the end ask for the swipe. So I met her in the middle, i only paid for 50 clicks, we will see how it turns out, if its a scam, i'll lose 15 bucks, if not i'll gain some opt ins or possibly an OTO sale.

I found this person in a facebook group btw.. if it's a scam, i'll be sure to post the name.

I've built a huge list and purchased hundreds (maybe into the thousands by now) of solo ads, and I find all of my vendors from Facebook groups, Skype, and WF Classifieds section.

Now, to address your concerns. .30 a click is really low for a quality vendor. Also, if this person contacted you and pitched her service to you, that's another concern. I never purchase from vendors who contact me.

That said, it doesn't mean she's trying to scam you. Sometimes solo sellers that are just starting out will offer lower prices in an effort to make initial sales and get their first few testimonials.

As far as not wanting a swipe, I hardly ever provide my own swipe unless I'm asked. That's pretty standard in the solo industry. That doesn't raise any red flags for me. The logic is that you have to trust that the seller knows their own list and knows what headlines and swipe copy will pique their interest.

I think you did the right thing by agreeing to 50 clicks for $15. This way, if it's a scam you've only lost a small amount of money, but if it's legit, you have got yourself a quality vendor who sells clicks at a great price. Another benefit of buying from a new vendor is the leads are going to be fresher and more responsive.

If you don't achieve at least a 35% opt-in rate and you find that the leads are completely unresponsive, you'll know never to buy from that vendor again.

Also, make sure to check testimonials on any vendor you are considering purchasing clicks from. Also, if you have a bad experience, make sure that you leave a testimonial to inform others.

If you like, I can PM you a list of reputable vendors that I have been using for months, even years in some cases.

I am guessing that she is selling you clickbanking traffic

In this case, She does not need your swipe. She would drive traffic into one thankyou page where

have a lot of bonnuses for people to get.

But you need to ask her more like what kind of traffic does she sell you, know as much information as possible about her service

At .30 per click, it is possible she is selling click banking traffic.

It's definitely not cool to sell click banking traffic without letting the buyer know that's what they are getting.

Personally, I won't touch click banking traffic or leads with a ten foot pole. They are utter garbage and watered down to the max.

If that is what she sold you, you can expect decent conversions, depending on your landing page, but the leads won't be worth squat.
