Are there any freelance article writing boards, where article requests are given and you select the ones you like and write them?

      DemandStudios.com operates like this. They are the parent company of many web sites, including eHow.com.

      Writers submit their resumes and writing samples and, once approved, can choose titles of interest.

      You are given several days to complete the assignments. I believe it is seven days.

      Then you submit your work to the editor and wait to see if it is approved or if it needs to be revised.

      The rate of pay varies. Some assignments pay $7.50, some pay $15.00, and some are through their revenue sharing program.

      I have sat down before and knocked out several articles per hour at $15.00 each, which is pretty good for racking up a little extra money here and there.
