There are a lot of threads already existing on this, it's best to use the search function for this. For starters you can read up on these threads:

First off, there is no best of anything. Different things work better for different people.

Also it depends on your traffic source, monetization strategy, etc.

It sounds like you are looking to start from scratch, which is ok. I would start by figuring out your traffic source then start to ask specific questions based on that to move forward. The more specific the better and easier to help.

Well said ChrisBa I couldn't have said it better cause in this industry its different strokes for different folks meaning what might work for party A might not work for party B they are many variance involved in this. Its all about testing various offers and niches and more importantly having all the tools in place.

I've been promoting affiliate / CPA offers for nearly 17 years and I can tell you what has worked for me.

I mainly promote PPL (pay per lead...lead generation) offers because there is no credit card / purchase required to complete an offer. All a user has to do is fill out a form, so conversion rates are typically much higher compared to offers that require a sale to be made.

I favor offers that have a make, get or save money benefit to them, as they have overall worked the best. They also tend to have the greatest mass appeal (will be of interest to a large general audience), so the potential exists to produce high volume and they are fairly easy to cross promote on the back-end.

Some of the niches that I have done extremely well with are education, insurance, mortgage, credit, loans, debt, assistance, discount offers, homeowner offers, etc...

Bottom line: it's much easier to get someone fill out a short form than to get them to pull out their credit card and make a purchase. So why struggle with trying to sell this or that, when you can provide free information that users want/need and get paid well doing it.

I drive traffic by acquiring fresh / targeted 3rd party email data, which is data that the users have shown an interest in a specific niche and have given permission to receive messages from third parties. You get the opt-in record for every user and it's 100% can-spam compliant.

3rd party data is rarely as responsive as a highly targeted opt-in list. So to compensate for this you need to work with higher volume. This isn't an issue because the data is much cheaper and highly scalable compared to mainstream list building methods.

The key to making it work long term is to always be collecting your opens / clickers, segment, and removing unresponsive users. That way over time you are building smaller, but more responsive lists that you should eventually be able to send less and make more with each mailing. Essentially you are converting the data from quantity to quality.

Basically, I monetize the data using PPL offers because they offer the path of least resistance to generating conversions ($$$) and converting the data into cash producing assets.

There is more to it than just getting data and sending, but done right it can be extremely profitable. Everyone that I know that is in the business and knows what they are doing, for the most part, does 6-7 figures. While that's a huge range, much comes down to one's ability to scale and effectively build / manage the infrastructure needed to scale.

    Something to think about.

" work with a niche that you love and you will never need to go to work"

    For the traffic

To be honests your going to have to experiment.

Most successful affiliate earners go through most product and services and pick out what works like trial and error and monitor it analytics etc

Than you can and scale it.

Focusing on the best is the wrong way to approach it.

Something that pays you $1000 per sale that you can sell 0 times isn't going to do you much good.

You have to figure out what's the easiest thing for you to sell/promote successfully.

You want to choose a program that converts well. It's better to work with one that sells to 10 out of every 30 visitors you send to them than to one that sells to 5 out of every 30 visitors, all other things being equal.

Problem is, the other things are not equal usually.

Some people make tons of money selling screw drivers and drills, others can't, for the life of them, sell one of those things. But they can sell beauty products like crazy. While others can't sell, period.

If I were you, I'd work really hard at understanding what a niche is... It's easier to sell to a niche than to a market/industry.

So, losing weight is not a niche... losing weight when you're a 50 year old man who's got diabetes is.

The difference: the focus is really narrow: you eliminate a lot of people. On the other hand, the ones you don't eliminate really connect with things that have to do with losing weight when you're a 50 year old man who's got diabetes.

You need the niche to be large enough that it will make you money... I'm betting there are more 50 year old men who've got diabetes and want to lose weight than 50 year old men who've got diabetes and want to run a marathon... Though, if there's enough of the ones who want to run, your chances of making money are bigger...

Assuming they buy the way you sell/promote.

Which takes me to: If I were you, I'd read some books on marketing, perhaps Dan Kennedy's Ultimate Marketing Plan...

And, if I were you, I wouldn't spend too much time on learning, unless the learning involved a lot of doing what was learned...

When you get great at it, you'll make a lot of money, but why not make some (even though less) money while you're getting great at it?

Go with what you are passionate about.

You will already know a lot about the niche.

Chances are you will already have a lot of the popular products in this niche, and have used them, so you can review them from a real user perspective.

And you will know where the big forums/websites/blogs are in your niche, which will help you bring traffic yo your affiliate offers.

    Hope this helps.

Here's the (It's a closely guarded secret) absolute best niche for affiliate marketing.

How to paint miniature reproductions of the Mona Lisa, that glow in the dark and spout wisecracks, using the toes on your left foot and finger paints.

It's completely un-tapped and pays huge commissions!!

But don't tell anyone else! Like I said, it's top secret.

Hot niche and a super offer are actually the best combination. Aa good niche is worthless without a great offer

Weight loss, though competitive is insatiable. Come January, demand for weight loss services will fly through the roof with people needing to burn the extra fat put on during the festive seasons.

Find a great offer, create a funnel which includes an optin page and a free lead magnet to entice them to join your mailing list and a 4 -7 day autoresponder follow up to convert your leads to sales.

I think that your best bet is to join a program that has a proven track record that has systems in place that you can duplicate. It is hard work reinvesting the wheel. I am working with an internet marketer who has a $1,000,000 plus per year business.

Just learn how to become an expert in marketing and selling anything. That's the first step. Actually i think you're question is a little backwards. Instead of saying "what is the best niche", you should be asking, "how can i receive continual commissions from an affiliate sale month after month?"

You don't want to make a one time sale of $20, then let the product owner walk away with the customer and extract hundreds or thousands out of them - with you getting none of that extra income.

You can start work, where you are expert. After gathering many knowledge, you can try to earn money. Most of the people are failing in this sector due to lack of knowledge & Patience. Be patience. You can use many platform to promote at a time. I do not want to depend on a platform only. Thanks for your advance.
