If I'm talking about my website. My website related to mobile app development niche. I have a problem regarding to traffic. My website traffic down day by day. So, give me some suggestion. How I improve my traffic and alexa?

    Get more people who have the toolbar / plugin installed to visit your site.

    Alexa rank doesn't count for much, it can be easily manipulated if you're outside the top 30k.

      Well said Michael Meaney and in addition you can use tools like Hipleap to increase views. All you do is add your website to Hitleap home page, download the app and let it run for couple of hours a day.

      Alexa shows a number where you can see your position according to your traffic. I use analytics, webmaster but I increase my Alexa so that's why I'm asking this type of question.

    Alexa rankings are not worth fretting over    .

    In almost all cases (except for the very highest trafficked sites - top 100,000) they are meaningless and to chase them is a total waste of time IMO.

    Alexa rankings data are based on those sites that have the Alexa toolbar, which is negligible compared to the universe of all sites.

    Read it for yourself right on the Alexa site:
    "Sites with relatively low measured traffic will not be accurately ranked by Alexa. We do not receive enough data from our sources to make rankings beyond 100,000 statistically meaningful."
    If sites aren't "accurately ranked" and aren't "statistically meaningful," what's the point in bothering with Alexa rankings? Your time could be better spent on other things that really make a difference in your business.Steve

    In the end, you should be adding lots of content too, google loves 1000+ SEO'd writted content. Infact Google laps it up these days.

    I am not sure if this will get you right up there, but its sure to generate a ton of subscribers and sales, if you do things right.
