How to Grow an Affiliate Program?

I have recently launched an affiliate program for my website. I have recruited around 15 affiliates so far, but having trouble finding active affiliates that can actually bring in some decent traffic and sales.

So my question is, who has started an affiliate program from the ground up before and what were the best ways you found to bring in quality affiliates? Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Our program is setup to offer 35% commissions per sale and we have a 60 day cookie retention. Thanks fellow Warriors!

How did you manage to gather those 15 affiliates?

Why can't you replicate the same strategy?

Also, what niche is the affiliate program?

    • I got those by just posting around on some different forums and some are friends and family. None are too active though, just need a few good ones to get started. Trying to find some new ideas to bring in more affiliates to my program.

You may consider joining Facebook groups and commented actively in your niche.

As well as other forums like this one.

You can also contact another vendor - even if he is your competitor but with a much bigger list - to see if he email your offer to his list.

And once they buy, you can ask them to promote as your affiliate as well since they already know what you have to offer.

    Hope this helps.

  • Buying banner ads and Facebook groups are the best place to grow the affiliate program fast.
Have to add more testimonials in the website. it will push one step forward to give more confidence before purchasing.

    High EPC.

    High conversion ratio.

    Low refund rate.

In short, promote the product yourself and document the numbers. If they are good enough, contact sites in your market and show them the numbers.
