Let's talk about traffic sources!

Im nearly at the point where I will be driving traffic to my first landing page. Im trying to decide if I want to use paid traffic, free traffic, or a combo of both.

Do you prefer either free or paid, or is it smarter to not rely on one over the other? What are some of your favorite sources to get the traffic? Do you have any advice for me before I begin my first traffic campaign?

Thank you for any advice. I greatly appreciate it!

  • Free and Paid traffic will covert and get more leads to your business. but Paid traffic is quality and generate more leads.
Free traffic take some times to build the list still it will covert well.

Facebook groups, YouTube , blogs are the best place to get free traffic and need more hard work to get more traffic.

Bing and Facebook ads the best place to get more traffic and quality leads.

I suggest Paid traffic is good ( free traffic is not bad )

Content marketing is my favorite way to generate traffic but if you have a healthy budget Adwords can be good if you know what you're doing.

    Yes.

My advice: go to the sources of traffic that cater to your niche market. Don't rely on other people to tell you where to get traffic. Their niche is most likely different than yours and what is good for them may be awful for you.

Test some niche different sources on a small scale. Track your results. Tweak your campaigns in order to optimize your results. Once you have found traffic sources that give you a positive ROI, only then should you scale up your advertising budget (or your time marketing there if it's a free traffic source).

Do the same for free traffic sources. Test them, track results, optimize campaigns. Find the best converting traffic sources for you and don't just follow what the crowd is doing. It may well be that your best source of traffic is an article on a niche authority blog site. You'll only discover that by testing different venues. But whatever you do . . . it makes sense to put your marketing in front of your targeted niche prospects - wherever they are.

    Hey,

If you're going to start driving traffic, make sure to have a funnel with specific goals in place. Most people think the problem is in the "traffic" when 9 out of 10 of the times it is in the funnels. Make sure to have clear goals and objetives, there's nothing like "free" traffic, it will either cost you time or money.

    Just my 2cents
    Have a great day!

I prefer PAID because it's fast, and quick to test out a niche. But by all means, if you're in a true niche and you want to get some free traffic to help lower your advertising costs - then do it. But straight out the gate, i would test paid advertising to see if this is a niche that you want to be in the long term.

Paid traffic works, but it is imperative to perceive all its highs and lows. Most people think paid traffic is all about adwords, banners, Facebook and etc. But, in reality, it has more depth and sources.

If are confused between these two options, I say go for paid traffic first. However, focus on one platform only and learn as much as you can about that platform. It is also pertinent to know whether you target audience spends time on that platform or not. All these small factors matter.

I prefer both free and paid traffic methods,

It does not really matter for you to rely on one over the other or not at the beginning?

What matter the most is that get in the game, try to master one method at a time, the see what works

MY favorite sources to get the traffic? Bing ADS - This is quality traffic and it's cheap

    Facebook Groups post, Forum.

Paid traffic will be far more scalable, but will obviously cost you money.

Free traffic for the average marketer is going to be limiting, but you pay with your time rather than money.

Which do you have more of...money or time?

I Think that since you are just at the beginning.
Start with Free Traffic, build some authority and before you go to Paid traffic , make sure your funnels are converting, You Can do some split testing for that .

I do both free and paid traffic

Free traffic= time consuming but can get great results after a while

Paid traffic= fast results but requires a budget, now if you have a funnel that converts you can have your money back fast.

What is the cost of "free" traffic?

How much is your time worth?

I've seen people spend hundreds, even thousands, of dollars on courses, tools and gimmicks aimed at getting "free" traffic.

Had they spent that same money learning to use paid traffic effectively, they'd have all the traffic they can handle.

I do believe in getting traffic I don't have to pay for, and Ryan gave a pretty good list of things to do.

What is the cost of paid traffic?

If you dial in your campaigns so that every dollar you spend brings back more than a dollar, how much does it really cost?

Yes, there is some upfront cost while you learn the platform and dial in your campaigns, but once they are generating more than they cost, you'll get back to breakeven and into then into profit.

So use both. Profit is the metric that really counts.

i do have only good experience with free traffic, like Facebook groups, blogs, and forums. it will help you generating some leads to your offer, but i know paid traffic is far away better to drive good leads to your offers! depending of your offer, then you will know exactly what traffic can be the best for your campaign! i suggest you to test everything before diving in! you can also run your campaign on social media, like Facebook ads, it works well also, or you can use tools to look the best traffic source for you!

If you used adsense on your website then don't use paid traffic because google doesn't allow paid traffic on adsense websites.

Hopefully you have a budget set aside and are not just pulling this from your head. Paid traffic is fast and you can use it to test your pages for conversions before you spend the time on the free methods.
