Honestly if you're looking to start a blog I'd use medium.com with the custom domain feature.

    https://help.medium.com/hc/en-us/art...custom-domains

You can have a main static part of the website for offers and use medium for the blog part.

I need to do this myself, I'm currently blogging on medium under my personal account.

Wordpress offers more options but with Medium your content is going to get more eyeballs due to it being a social media platform of sorts.

You can use root domain or sub-domain for your medium blog. You can have a normal html, css (bootstrap?), javascript website for the main part of your site and just use medium for the blog.

If you use the Wordpress, I would like to suggest you to use the Wordpress. Because it is more customizable than others. So it would better for you to use the Wordpress. Thanks for your interesting.

WordPress is the best cms used by most affiliate marketers. It is easy to use and websites using that platform tends to rank high in Google.

WordPress would be my suggestion, especially if you already have the learning curve under your belt.

There are thousands of excellent, customizable themes, plug-ins, and tools that have been developed for the WP platform.

IMO, WP will be around for a long time . . . Weebly may not be as lasting in the marketplace.

    Just my opinion,

I personally prefer Wordpress. But make sure you have your own domain and hosting.

  • I use wordpress for many different sites. It does depend on what you mainly plan on using it for, but for basic websites Wordpress is great. I like Shopify for an e-commerce solution.

Wordpress is by far the best of the two mentioned. Especially if you know how to use it already.

weebly can take more time instead of WordPress but Weebly is the best backlinks site. I suggest you create your website on Weebly.

Weebly is more easy and best for websites instead of WordPress because, it integrates with google apps and also has free hosting and domain.

At this stage you would put weebly in the bin if you plan to use the blog at all, the meta description does not work (and has never worked on a weebly blog / it is an inherent fault and every weebly blog post made to date carries this error and is why it is hard to rank if not impossible) and the blog page does not give a H1 reference to the title by default. ( you can now get a plugin that ads a H1 but it is untidy and ugly at best or modify the code)

      * at the time of writing this I am unaware they have fixed this problem.

This gives you two big reasons to bypass weebly with a long stick if you plan on using the blog at all. You will always be wasting your time trying to rank anything in that.

My vote also goes to WordPress. It is one of the best and widely used CMS, which is trusted by millions of bloggers and webmasters. Plethora of plugins and themes makes it more expandable and you can create almost any type of sites.

Weebly is good to experiment with but ultimately you want wordpress because it is best for everything with plugins etc.

  • I have used both platforms and I prefer WordPress simply because I see this platform is very easy to customize with the use of plugins and most of all, I can do onsite SEO for my website. I find WP easy, less hassle to create and manage a website, and SEO-friendly.

Go with Wordpress. It's super flexible and dynamic. And it makes your marketing easy. There are so many tools and themes you can use to enhance and modify your blog. Wordpress is the clear winner. You can even create a free forum with Wordpress.

    Choose What Sucks!

Well, not really... I'm not suggesting it, but a lot of people do. If you want to be successful, you need to do it right. That does not mean you need to spend a fortune, but you do need to at least make a small investment.
    • First off, WordPress over Weebly - they are not even on the same planet.
    • Second, you are going to want to spring for hosting... there are many disadvantages to using WordPress.org, and even more advantages to having your own domain.
    • You must control your Internet properties... you are in business.

Do it right or you will regret it... You have been warned!
