Will clickbank let me deliver my product using mediafire??

Wordpress will only let me upload 64mb but my product is over 120mb and I'm going to have 2 bonuses one will be about 40mb (maybe more actually) and the other also around 120mb, and I wanted to put a download link for each on my thankyou page and also put a download link for all of them together in a zip folder. I have absolutely no clue how I can deliver these files since my max is 64mb...

Will clickbank let me deliver through mediafire, and is that even smart to do since everyone can just share the links? What would you do if you were me?

I can't think of any possible way to deliver these files without mediafire but I just don't know anything about delivering files/products, and I've been searching youtube, adn coming up with nothing but people saying to do thisphp.ini stuff and raise my max in wordpress but hostgator said I can't go above 64mb the lady was going to do it for me, dang, what should I do?

What do most clickbank vendors use to deliver their products that are too big to upload to wordpress?

Heads up on Mediafire, their free file hosting expires exactly one year after the file is uploaded.

I learned this the hard way years ago, I guess they're still the same in 2017. I think they might also have paid hosting now or they were planning on having it, not sure, wasn't available at the time I used the site.

Anyways, one of my first sites had hundreds of files hosted on Mediafire, a year later I started getting a lot of questions from traffic asking why the links are all broken. Ugh, took me a month to straighten that site out and that was a good money site.

My advice on Clickbank, ask them your question, they don't bite, actually some nice people to work with and responsive.

This question is outside the scope of ClickBank's service. They deliver their buyer to your "Thank You" page. It's up to the seller to link from that page to the download file(s).

I am really surprised at this because I see many, many products and systems for delivering digital files being advertised online every day.

As Sid has suggested, Amazon is a good option . . . but there are tons more available (including cloud based services) that are straightforward and pretty easy to set up.

Yea all I could find was ejunkie, and one other one I can't even remember the names of but even though it's cheap monthly payments I can't even afford one dollar now I already borrow money from my mom for my list and my hosting and mediafire was the only free thing I could find, and those other 2 were the only paid things I can find, but I'm probably not typing the right stuff into google I was typing stuff like 'how to deliver a produt' how to deliver a file' how to deliver a clickbank product' stuff like that and there's just like no info on it, but I appreciate you guys helping me thanks.

Thank you guys for your responses, I joined last night and it said my post won't be up until i paid, I was confused it must have been a glitch but I'm glad it's working, hey thanks a lot I never heard of Amazon S3 looks like it's free with up to 5gb storage HECK YES!!! And wow, I had no clue mediafire only held files for 1 year that's insane, gladI'm able to learn through your experience thank you for letting me know, and I should have said mediafire is the only free way I can think of as right now I am unemployed and already borrow money from my mom every month for hosting and aweber, and I don't want to ask for another 10-20 a month for product delivery so I wanted to use something that's free until I'm making at least 20 dollars a month reliably to pay for a nice safe and secure delivery method. I'll have to look more into this Amazon S3, and yes like Cid said, clickbank won't answer a lot of questions I asked them a pretty basic question before and they told me to ask my web developer which I don't have one I use wordpress and profit builder. Sorry if I forgot one of your replies, but thank you all for the insight, I'm going to look into Amazon S3 a little more now, thanks a lot, and i'm glad this forum doesn't cost money I was confused last night I was like 'I have to pay to make a post on a forum?' It must have just been glitching since I just joined...

I think using a service like that to deliver your product would come off as amateurish and unprofessional.

Besides, a proper download page or membership area gives you the opportunity to sell more products and services, do download page banner swaps with other marketers to help build your list, and a host of other benefits.

You said you had HostGator, so why can't you create a download folder and upload your files via FTP?

I've been doing that for years with no problem. I believe even the "baby" account allows for 20,000 MB of storage.

If you're paying for the hosting package and you don't plan on putting up lots of products or websites, you might as well use the storage.

You will just want to create an "index.html" file inside the download folder so that people cannot access the download from the folder's URL.

If you are going to be launching lots of products, then Amazon S3 is the most popular choice.

I don't know anything about web development, last night or the night before I think last night I tried getting this plugin like php something and it worked and increased my wordpress upload size from 64mb to 128 mb and then my whole site stopped working and I got some page saying all this crazy stuff that made no sense and luckily this lady at Hostgator fixed it for me and I told her what I was trying to do and told her I saw videos that seemed too complicated that's why I tried the plugin but the vids said to like make a php.ini file or something and do all this stuff that's like hearing Chinese to me or something and she said she knew what I was talking about and could do it for me, and then she told me she actually can't raise me up passed 64mb, and I'm not trying to mess with any of that my site is super nice and Idon't want to mess anything up at all, but something like e-junkie or a site like that, i could probably figure it out, but I'm already borrowing money from my mom for aweber, hostgator, and I don't want to ask for more, and I don't think she'll give me more anyways, I completely agree itwould be tacky and unprofessional that's why I was curious if Clickbank would even approve my product if I did it, but if I can get amazon S3 to work I mean, once some money comes in I can get e-junkie or whatever is the best I don't know man, i don't know anything about webdevelopment or delivering products or anything like that, all that stuff is just noise to me it's like learning Chinese it gives me a headache and makes me procrastinate... Idk I just don't know what to do, but I'm going to have to figure it out, it's sounding like Amazon s3 is my best option, and yes I plan on releasing LOTS of products I have literally infinite ideas, I'll probably release something new every 3 months or so, unless I make mad amounts of money, then I may release less...

Your main website is OK for ebooks and other smaller files. Although Hostgator offer unlimited storage it is for files that are directly part to your site. Under their T&C's you cannot use it for 'storage'. Hence the limited upload file size etc.

Storing a lot of videos on your site for distribution probably isn't a realistic option. I have literally hundreds (probably more) of training and demo videos that I have created over the last 9 years and I host them all on Amazon S3. It is just simple to do and ultra cheap to run.

Also it will give you what you need when you need it. During a launch for instance your bandwidth can go through the roof if you have video sales pages and demos plus product videos etc. A small hosting contract is not designed for that and could muck up your launch, fail your customers or worse give you problems with your hosting company.

Always deliver your product from a 'thank you' or 'download page'. Actually membership site is great but more complex.

A download page even with images will probably only be a meg at most. From there link to all you actual product parts (videos , ebooks, audios, software, etc.)

This keeps it nice and tidy as well as small. That way you can host on your own server or even convert it to PDF and upload to Clickbank.

Then if things change you just change the links on the download page, nice and simple.

Awesome thank you very much, sounds like Amazon s3 will be the way to go, I though it was free to use that though? If it's not free wouldn't it be better to use something like e-junkie? But right now I need something free until I'm sure I will have the money every month... I'm like anxious or something about this whole delivering my product thing so I'm kind of procrastinating i really don't have much left to do, probably one days work and then I'm 100% done and only need to figure out thisproduct delivery part and then I'll beable to submit to Clickbank and if they approve it, it will be the best day of my life I wil be jumping for joy like i just won the lottery even if I never make a sale it's a big accomplishment for me!

Although Amazon S3 isn't really free, it isn't a monthly subscription, either. You get charged based on the amount of storage you need (minimal, in your case) and the amount of data transferred. So the only time you'll get charged is after you make a sale.

Even then, the rates are really pretty cheap.

I wouldn't think uploading his product download files to a folder would be considered storage by HG. They are a part of his site. If he is selling a product and has put up a download page, I don't see the harm in uploading the zip files right into the folder where his sales page is, or even creating a folder just for the zip files, then linking to them from his download page.

Now, as you pointed out, this is not a good solution for somebody who is going to be launching loads of products, or someone who is into setting up tons of MRR & PLR products to resell. The file space would quickly be eaten up, and also if it is a really successful launch, the bandwidth would go through the roof between loading the sales & download page, and people downloading the zip files.

I think if he was only planning on having a few products, though, there wouldn't be an issue. Again, I think when HG says "storage," they mean using your hosting account as a backup service, not uploading a few files for buyers to download. The OP could ask their support service about this, though, but I'm sure it's not an issue as long as he is not using too much bandwidth on a shared hosting account.

The 64 MB limit only applies to media uploaded to your WordPress sites. You can FTP files of any size into your hosting account, as long as you don't exceed the 20 GB limit. I know the HG "baby" account has a 20 GB limit, but I'm not sure about other hosting companies or upgraded HG packages.

If you are someone like myself who sells hundreds of PLR & MRR products and creates packages, etc, using a shared hosting account to host your download files is not really an option, because 20 GB (20,000 MB) is not really enough space, and the amount of people downloading at the same time would surely set off alarm bells with your hosting company.

The best solution I've found over the years has definitely bean Amazon S3.

As far as E-Junkie, I have an account there. I think I keep it solely for sentimental reasons, since it was the very first platform that I ever listed and sold a product from. However, their memberships are expensive if you are going to list unlimited products and want lots of storage. I took a screen shot of their pricing chart:

As you can see, they don't even offer an unlimited storage plan. The highest amount of storage you can get is 50 GB (50,000 MB), and although that membership level allows for unlimited product listings, you would still need your own hosting account to host your website files. At $100 per month, I'm sure Amazon S3 would be much cheaper.

Personally, I keep the $5 per month account in case I want to list a product without having to pay per transaction, as E-Junkie does not charge an extra transaction fee.

Another thing you need to be aware of with E-Junkie is that while they do have an affiliate platform available, the bulk of good affiliates do not promote products from there because they do not offer instant commissions. Most of the top affiliates can be found on JVZoo, Warrior Plus, Clickbank, Clicksure, and Zaxaa.

I concur with just about everyone else who has said to go with Amazon S3.

My plan is having my product and bonuses normal, and then having a .zip with everything in it, I want both because some people won't be able to figure out how to open a .zip even though it's not hard, so I just want to make things as easy as possible and as convienient as possible for my customers... My main product I think is 118mb if I remember right, and then there will be 2 more mp3's around the same size, and one small PDF...

Isn't there a plugin or two or more than allow you to increase the limit of wordpress?

I think it likely has been mentioned here already, but delivering via a free filesharing service looks very bush league, amateur, and will just lead to piracy in the future.

Use a CDN like amazon, or call your ISP for options, but look into something like what is mentioned on this site

I'm confused...is your Wordpress site installed on your own hosting? If so, the 64 meg limit is only for WP, not your site. If this is the case, learn how to upload to your site using FTP.

The good news with Amazon S3 is that they will bill you AFTER you use their services. So, you should have made money before you have to pay Amazon. The bad news is, it can be complicated to set up for beginners.

If you use Mediafire as well as something like https://mega.nz/. They both have limits so upload to both and on your download page have two links, one to each download and say something like "Mirror 1" and "Mirror 2" to divide your downloads between both services.

Is the download one big file or multiple smaller ones? If it's smaller multiple ones, upload them separately to WP then have multiple download links on your download (Thank you) page.

Whether you choose Mega and MediaFire or Amazon, the good news is that if you don't make any sales you don't have to worry about downloads. And if you do make sales, I recommend getting decent hosting as Stuart/NicheBlogger suggests. I don't personally consider HostGator to be decent hosting if they limit your space in such a way as to restrict you using it for hosting your own downloads.
