That depends what is your target audience and what is your main aim and how you want to help people. Are you up to creating some tutorial series in different programming languages, Or you want to write about general stuff?

One unique way of writing is to pick some useful questions from stackoverflow and from other programming forums and write on those topics. That is what I am doing for my blog Techbytex, although it is not a programming related blog but the strategy is the same i believe. So pick topics from the question and write on them.

The easiest way to produce great content is to produce content for an audience you're apart of. This way you know if your targeted audience will likely find it helpful or interesting because they're all exactly like you!

Use website like buzzsumo to find the top blogs in your niche and get
some blog ideas. You can then outsource the articles to content
    writers for your website.

Have you tried researching your audience on Google? They will tell you what type of content they are interested in. If you are observant, you can learn a lot by going to authority sites in the niche, forums in the niche, and the top blogs in the niche. See what conversations are taking place. Note what problems, issues, and concerns people are talking about.

Do some keyword research on your best keywords and phrases and note the top web site results that are returned. Most likely, these businesses will be your competitors. See what is happening on their web sites, note what kinds of products they're selling, and subscribe to their mailing lists so you'll see the topics they are discussing.

    Hi M,

Do not focus on tools right now.

Give your attention and energy to:

    - having fun with blogging
    - writing 500 words daily in a Word document - just for practice - to gain confidence in clarity in your writing
    - writing 1 blog post every 1-2 weeks to share helpful content related to web development
    - posting 3-4 paragraph,in depth, personalized comments on web developer blogs
    - promoting other web development bloggers through social media and your blog

Focus on practicing, learning, creating and connecting, and you will lay the foundation for a successful blog.

I assume you have access to Google, so do some research.

"Who am I really writing for? I have no audience yet. Who will see my articles, even if I do write them? How can I build an audience if I don't have none yet to begin with?".

I would suggest creating a campaign focusing on your targeted audience that could really help you in understanding your audience better. As of documenting content, you can always learn from the existing experts. But, I would suggest to come up with your idea and curate your content as you think is best.

I'm not sure if i'm understanding. If you're asking about what platform to use, I'd recommend Wordpress, but can you please confirm your question?

You need a blog. Get one from Wordpress, or join a webhosting service that will allow you to do a 1-click install and creation for a Wordpress blog. Aabaco allows you to do this. Then get training materials about web development and input your knowledge on your blog about what you know about the subject.

  • For every new blog, require a lot of work. You need to promote your blog on social sites if you do not have money to promote your blog. However, if you have some money then off course it will take a short time. A high level content is very important for successful blog. If you have skills of writing SEO, friendly articles and content then write it. However, if you think you have not skills then, you may hire a writer from different sites like contentmart.com. In short, just promotion of blog is not enough for growing audience of your blog, as well as need of high level content.

You can't always introduce new topics to your target audience, since influential bloggers have already written tons of content on the issues you have in mind. There is a trick though: you don't necessarily need an original idea to craft unique content. You can always develop your own piece by adding the right dose of creativity into any topic your audience is interested in.
For example, let's say you're running a lifestyle blog and you've exhausted all topics about getting inspired, finding a purpose in life, achieving goals, and all other themes that are usual for these types of blogs. You can take the good-old idea on giving goal planning tips, but you can add a different angle. Here are few examples:

-How Blogging Can Help You Plan and Achieve Life Goals
-Do You Really Need a Calendar for Planning?
    -How Plans Can Prevent Procrastination
Or, you can relate your niche with the concept of blogging, so you'll give tips to other bloggers. In this case, the topic could be something like Unusual Methods for Planning Blog Posts. There are endless variations and spins you can think of.

I think that with blogging that you need to practice writing content in a fun and engaging way. Once you have mastered the art of writing good copy then look at writing for a target audience. Some people are good at learning technical material but may not be good at writing about it in a way that holds the reader's attention.

Blogging is a great way by which you can share knowledge and also make your profile strong by gaining some good visitors. There are no specific tools as such but you can start with the basics, Create content using images and text as only text makes a blog monotonous. You can also create a module where you will have 10 blogs for a particular topic. This will maintain the interest level of the audience, who will remain tuned to your blog.

You got a lot of answers, and I hope you know what to do, but let me give my two cents.
First off, blogging is a great way to share your thoughts and knowledge, but... Do you have something valuable to share?
You are a web developer, as I understand, aren't you? Do you create themes, plugins? If you are a web developer, it's not a big problem to buy a domain name, web hosting account and publish a blog post, but do you know what exactly you are going to be publishing?
Don't create yet another "how-to-install-wordpress" blog.

  • One of the greatest battles for bloggers who are pushing for development is the capacity to distribute one of a kind substance. With a great many different online journals out there it can appear now and again that each beneficial point has just been adequately secured.

Quality, unique substance is one of the greatest factors in blogging achievement. Investigate the online journals you read every day. Probably you read them since you like the articles they give that you can't get at different websites.
    The first thing is-
    Know your audience.
Post some guest posts. And see the response.
The best place is Quora. Here you will find question relate to your site. And answer them.

It depends: what your target audiences are, what your main "niche" is and how your content can help people out.
Try to post many guest post but remember that guest post must be suitable with the guest site, avoid spamming and optimize keywords cleverly.
