Landing / squeeze page

Hello everybody...

I have some questions...
What's the difference between landing and squeeze page?

the next one is....

I have a product I want to advertise...

I have a domain...

Now I'm thinking how should I make my page to build my list and redirect the the advertised page...

I mean how should It look? any examples?
Can I copy text from advertised page or should I make something new alone?

Some landing pages are short as 1 A4 page and others are like 10 pages looooong.... what mine should be like ?

Regards
Darek

IMHO landing page is simply the page you want the person to land on. It is customized to match the expectations of the person depending on how they go there. Different landing page for different PPC campaigns. Always test the format, words, etc to see which one converts better.

A Squeeze page is a place where you want to squeeze some information out of the person. Generally designed to get email address so you can do follow up relationship building and marketing too.

A landing page can be a squeeze page but doesn't have to be. The landing page could be the sales letter of your product where you want to get a sale.

Your page - You can copy ideas but not text. Violates copyright. So if you find one you like, you can have the look and feel and general words replicated but not duplicated.

Your page should look the way that converts best depending on your markets expectations. The only way to know is to test. Copy should be as long as needed to make them take the next move. The only way to find out is to test. Short works for some. Long works for others. Video converts in some and not others. Test Test Test
