Clickbank and Bing Ads

I haven't tried direct linking to sales pages but I do use Bing to send traffic to a squeeze page. I think Bing is one of the more overlooked and underrated sources of traffic.

I think your idea of creating a landing page and offering some content and capturing emails is a smart approach.

You can not win in that battle if you only use direct linking.

A landing page is a must have. The free report should relate with the product that you

are trying to sell. Use longtail keywords.

Continuely optimize is neccessary.

This was something that I wanted to get into some time back. It sounds easy in theory, but it's a lot harder than you think.

Direct linking is one way to lose money than if you just took the time to build out a landing page or blog. Direct linking is the easy way to do it, but you would be able to make a lot more money if you built out a website and directed your traffic to that site.

Warm people up to your offer and then sell them. Doing this will help you to get more bang for your buck.

If you have the budget direct linking is mainly to see what keywords and if the offer converts ,

other than that you're wasting your money.

Build a squeeze page with a free report and you'll have more chances to promote.

Tip: make sure you have a privacy policy, terms and disclosure pages in place. No exit pops.

You may lose a lot of money on ads.... Never send traffic directly to the sale page.

You need to set-up a good sales funnel if you really want to take profit with your affiliate product.

Here is the process:

Traffic (free or paid) ==> Landing page ==> Give them value through email marketing ==> Offer ==> Keep it going.

This strategy is really simple but you need to take a lot of action.

It's generally a bad idea to direct link to your affiliate URL on traffic platforms.

Some may even ban you because of this.

The new marketing strategy that you have is a solid plan. Collecting email addresses so that you can continue to market to your leads over and over again is how you create repeat buyers.

And ALL real businesses should have repeat buyers.

I would also recommend that you select products that have a back-end so that you can actually make a decent income from your efforts.

If your sales funnel is set-up correctly, it should go something like this:

1.) Offer a trip wire product ($1 - 10).

2.) Promote the core product (Usually around $37 - $97)

3.) have a higher tier product on the back-end (Can be $300 and up)

Having a sales funnel in place like this will maximize your earnings potential instead of hustling your butt off to earn pennies for your hard work.

I promote the trip-wire offer as soon as a someone lands on my thank you page. Then I promote the core product after about a week.

This allows me to build a relationship with my leads before selling them a higher priced product.

Then the core product upsells them on additional programs they may be interested in. This is how I do it and how I'm able to see a good return on my ad spend.

Even though your new, I would say that you generally have the right idea though.
