Joint ventures - how can you build trust/find honest people

Halo everybody,
I am in the process of developing a product that is based on my personal experience and I believe that can help online and offline marketers to start seeing the results they want. I thought about marketing it along with complementary product about list building/facebook/easy methods to see first commissions. - so the buyers can get most value out of it.

I considered doing joint venture with some other online marketer, but since it's the first time I am doing such a thing, I am not sure how to find someone that I can really trust (and that he can trust me., of course), when it comes to splitting the work, profits, support, etc.

I am ethical and my goal is to help other people online, so I am looking for someone with the same spirit, and also someone very experienced in what he does.

I know I can advertise on the joint venture section, but before I do - I would be glad to find some advice from people with good/bad experience... on how to find the right people and how to do business safely.

Thank you very much!

I think that you need to find someone who have already have an audience...
That is the first thing to look for ...
Then You Just go ahead and contact him, Build a relationship...
then you can Talk about the details

I would still place an ad in the JV section but after some enquires asked for reference or two and talk to the others who have used the JV s service

You may have had some replys via the PM just be careful on what they offer

You can also find good JV groups on facebook with lots of marketers that you can build trust and relationship with before your product launch. Be that as it may one of the best way to build trust with top marketers is to offer to promote their offers make then sales and they will reciprocate when the time comes for you to launch your own product. Hope that helps.

I think megamind22 has some good advice about promoting their product first so that they are likely to reciprocate.

I heard that you should be constantly networking so that when the time comes to do a joint venture, you already created strong relationships.

I was told that you should create a spreadsheet, with the top 50 marketers in your niche. Part of your daily activities should be trying to be in contact with them. Make a record of the dates and conversation topics in your spreadsheet.

If you notice that a marketer's son has a little league game on facebook, contact him to let ask him how the game went.

If you contact to someone and they mention that they are having personal issues, mark it down and follow up on how they are doing.

These little personal touches build friendships and people are more likely to do business with friendly people.

So try to network a little each day. Think long term. These little daily actions can pay off big.
