How to be allowed to use Google Adsense after having been banned?

Back in 2010 I was cut off from using Google Adsense. I never fought it, and instead pretty much dropped off of doing any marketing from that point on (personal issues). Although I don't recall ever making "invalid clicks" and can't prove that I didn't at this point, they will not accept any of my appeals.

I have heard that it may be possible to create a new account. Is it possible? Don't they look at the Social Security Number of people during account setup?

    I don't understand why you would want to.

    In my experience, people use Adsense for one of two reasons.

    #1 They don't know any better.

    #2 As a last resort because there is no other way to monetize their traffic.

    I vibe with Brent on this one TT.

    Seeing how you write (via this post) you have far more profitable, aligned, inspired blog monetizing alternatives.

    Make advertising your 4th or 5th income stream. Focus on offering products, eBooks and consulting services. Far better monetizing options from my take.

    There are better ways (higher ROI) to earn off your traffic

    Try CPA programs

    Regardless, unless you're planning some sort of deceptive application, Adsense bans are permanent. Getting a second account is a BAD IDEA.

    Move on from Adsense. There are much better programs out there.

    This is What Happened to Me

    My account was banned in 2011 after a misunderstanding (I'll take the blame). They refused to reinstate my "privileges" and I just stopped using Adsense. For no particular reason I tried again five years later (2016) and they DID reinstate my account. I haven't used it though because I now know so many better ways to market. With that said, it doesn't mean there isn't a time and place for Adsense. I'm pleased my account is active again.

    Scott's experience is not typical. Normally, when Google bans you, you stay banned forever.

    It doesn't matter if you made the invalid clicks, just that they were made by someone. Google calls it 'presenting a risk to the advertiser' and shuts you down.

    As others have said, there are better ways to monetize. The golden Google goose laid its last eggs when Google decoupled the bidding for the search and content networks. Your analysis may show a CPC of $10, but that's only for the search network. It's meant as a guideline for bidders, not publishers. Your payout per click on the search network will be much less, maybe $0.10 to $0.25 per click.

    The other thing to take into consideration Scott is the Ad blockers as I have 2 one for websites and the other for YT and FB and not seen an ad in 5 yrs

    I should add that I'd like to have Adsense so I could be eligible for Youtube monetization, among other things.

    I don't really care for Adsense earnings specifically, but rather the associated effects that being banned has on me.

      Yeah the only thing I would be concerned about is YT as adsense is used a lot by those with YT channels

    There's no need to rely on Adsense. Why not try a monthly recurring income affiliate program? It gives you *some* more control over your business. Most affiliate networks and providers are less strict than Google.

    However, if you insist on having an account, open a company and get the account under the company... Make sure the company doesn't use your home address, your email address and such... Or get a company and open the account under one of the other owners/managers.

    Personally I would just move on and try a different person platform.
    You could look at media.net, info links or even cpa offers.

    Google can't be trusted. I got banned some years ago even after I spent a whole day re-jigging my site with one of their 'operatives' who gave me the green-light at the end of the day.
    Next morning I had an E-mail saying the account had been closed again because of "Breach Of Terms & Conditions" When I asked which ones they replied that they couldn't help, that I should read those T's&C's thoroughly to determine the breach. (Have you seen the complexity of them?)
    I still use 'adsense' on my pages though the stats bounce up-and-down like a yo-yo during the course of the day and often end up showing Zero visitors and Zero impressions even though you KNOW for a fact the website has had numerous visitors.
    Steer clear unless you're one of the 'Big Boys' who can afford to spend 100's of 1'000's weekly :-(

    Google AdSense ban is permanent and you cannot get back your account until you have some strong evidences that you haven't done anything intentionally. I actually never have any luck with Google AdSense, I make most out of with affiliate marketing and selling services on my blog.

      Got news for you. It does not matter if you did anything, intentional or otherwise. If your account attracts any activity that has an adverse effect on advertisers (in the sole judgment of Google), you will be suspended (Google-speak for 'banned for life').

      As for another comment about Google not to be trusted, that's incorrect. You can always trust Google to act in the best interests of itself and its advertisers. If that means banning first and not asking questions later, so be it. Google has been absolutely consistent in this for many years.
