How many articles per product?

How many articles should I write up per product I'm promoting. Is 5 enough?

Also I'm a little confused with keywords, I'm using market samurai and I'm only picking ones that tend to have 50-1000 searches per day, but a SEOC and SEOTC under 500,000. Am I doing it right?

You should stick to 1 to 3 products only.
Otherwise you are going to struggle.

Choose 3 good products and write or outsource writing article as many as you can.
Search volume is up to you obviously.

I've read that products or sales pages should always have at least 5 articles written. That being said, I do agree w/ Reinhardt that having a select few good products is the way to go, as your efforts will be much easier to organize and track.

You should write as many articles as you can... I have some products that I have 100+ articles on. If this is your first time, you should stick with one product build up a blog or website and use backlinks, submit rss feeds, and other marketing methods along with submitting those articles.

As for your keywords maybe someone else could answer that better than me as I tend to go after very high competitive keywords...

If I remember correctly, Market Samurai recommend that you stick to keyword phrases that generate at least 100 visitors per day if you're in the no. 1 position on Google for that phrase (SEOT they call it) but has a SEOC under 100,000.

To be sure, check out the support videos on their site.

I think that much depend on different factors, for example the quality of the used keyword, how you are objective in your articles and choosing the right category for your articles. You may wright as much as you can as well as your articles covering the essential points and have the key factors to attract high traffic to your website.

      Regards..

500,000 SEOC or SEOTC is much too many. If you're fairly new to internet marketing then go for 30,000 maximum. If you're pretty experienced, then you might go for 50,000 maximum.

The Market Samurai team create videos for the Thirty Day Challenge, and in them they recommend a minimum SEOT of 80 for your main theme keyword, and SEOC under 30,000. I've seen a heck of a lot of their videos and I don't recall any where they recommend SEOC much higher than that.

what about SEOTC? Does that matter at all or should I just ignore it and look at SEOC?

The key is to stick to what is manageable.

I like to follow a sequence of progression.

    1. Finish your product first.
    2. Promote it with 10 articles.... don't GET DISTRACTED on working on another product.
    3. Evaluate the responses... is your product converting? If not, what's wrong?
    4. Make necessary changes on your sales landing page. Or, promote your articles elsewhere, if not, use another method to promote. Sometime, article marketing MAY NOT be suitable for your product type.
    5. Give your first product some time, and if you really WANT to get your second product out, gradually build it in SMALL CHUNKS.

    Makes life easier yet productive.

How many Articles depens on what you are using to market the article.

    1. Marketing articles - Start off with 5-20
    2. Other vehicles like linkvana or myarticelnetwork I always atart off with at least 10 articles.
    3. Blogging - Try to make at least one post per day for 30 days. On week 2 start bookmarking everything you post. Ping you bookmarking profiles, Sumbit Rss Feeds and ping them as well with each new post.
    4. WordPress MU Sites - Find MU sites that allow you to create blogs and spin your articles to these sites as feeder sites.
    4. Combination of all the above - I try to do all of it, might back off on the blog postsmaybe post every other day.

1- Stick to your three best products.
2- Write as many articles as you can without sounding repetitive.
3- Keep the content fresh and current. This means that everytime there is any update on any of your products you update the article in accordance.
