There are some IM products that come with Reseller rights (not PLR) so i can sell as my own

is it good idea to buy the resell rights and sell it as my own? would that be profitable?

am i supposed to rebrand it or just sell it as it is?

Let me understand what you are asking. You are interested in acquiring the non-exclusive reseller rights to some digital product where you sell the product but you pay the owner of the product for every sale, corrrect? You state not PLR so I assume this must be the case.

Should you keep the creator's brand or white label? If the creator has a strong brand then you should sell the strong brand not your own. This is basically affiliate marketing.

If the creator has an unknown brand and you want to create your own brand then white label.

If you want to create your own brand avoid products from a creator with a strong brand because you will pay a premium for the brand but you will not get the benefit since you are rebranding it.

Would that be profitable? If you do it right it might be profitable. If you do it wrong it will definitely not be profitable.

Why are you averse to PLR products? There are some good ones on JVZoo.

How big is your list? Is it responsive? Is it growing? Is it focussed on one niche or is it eclectic? What have you already done in this space? A little more information would go along way to getting helpful replies.

      Peter,

Most every non-exclusive reseller rights product that I have seen (over decades of experience) only gives you (and others buying a license) the right to sell the product as is - not change it in any way - not claim to be the author - but you get to keep the proceeds from the sale without having to pay the owner any royalty from the sale. Private label or "white" label means you can brand it as your own, call yourself the author, etc.

Whether it's a good idea, or whether it would be profitable, depends on a number of factors...
    1. How much do you have to pay for the resale rights vs. how many copies you will be able sell,
    2. How much effort will it take to get ready to sell the products (do they come with sales materials, ad copy, etc.),
    3. Do you own (or have the right to give away/sell) related bonus products so that you can create an attractive "bundle" of products to sell,
    4. Do you have a reasonably unique traffic source so that you will be able to promote to a select group of potential buyers (i.e. your own mailing list),
    5. etc., etc., etc.

Unless you can a) put your offer in front of a unique set of buyers, or b) make your offer unique in some other way, you will probably wind up competing only on price against all of the other resellers.

Resale rights products don't typically include the right to rebrand the product, or to modify it in any way, so while it can be used as a shortcut to selling directly (vs. affiliate marketing), it comes with its own set of challenges.

  • Offering items from home can be an incredible approach to procure additional wage without focusing on the strict hours of customary business. On the off chance that you need to take a shot at an adaptable timetable, have freedom and self-governance in your work, and get paid in light of how fruitful you are, at that point offering items might be a great job open door for you.

Here are some tips for you to resell products:
    • Choose your product or company.
    • Choose reputable company for products.
    • Avoid pyramid schemes and scams
    • Find a product that you believe.
    • Research fees and quotas.
    • Select a product that you think will be successful.
    • Select products that'll helpyour customer.

    Absolutely can be.

Generally, with resell rights (RR) the product is supposed to stay as is, unless otherwise noted.

One point I'd like to make is that even though many people may have the same resell rights, that doesn't mean your customers will ever see the offer anywhere else but from you. Where it gets in your head though is, "What if they do?"

Don't screw yourself out of a sale.
