I've written extensively on the topic of LOA

At a certain level, it involves CLEANSING your mind of limiting thoughts that prevent you from taking ACTION

It also involves exercises that HEIGHTEN your FOCUS and AWARENESS

The bottom line? Nothing mystical or magical about it.

The law of attraction is a great concept but relies heavily on the law of taking action.
I use the law of attraction to create a clear vision of what I want. This helps to clarify what steps I need to take to get what I want. Then you must turn to the law of taking action to actively work on each step to reach your goal.

The best book on the law of attraction is Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Read the whole thing. And then read it again.

I would say also "How to Win Friends and Influence People", by Dale Carnegie.

These two classics are fundamental, of which the "law of attraction" is merely a subset of these concepts.

Law of Attraction will bring you ideas, but the only thing to bring you results is action. You must act on those ideas that come to you to produce enough results to succeed.

The basic principle is that positive thinking rewards you with positive results.
So the mindset should be "i can" rather than "i cannot"

I don't believe in Law of Attraction.

It's a million times better to read psychology books. They can help you in business a lot more than you can imagine.

Most of us change our focus and passions again and again. So, as far as a I believe, Law of Attraction is all about compelling you to focus on one thing only, which you truly desire.

    It's nothing more than that.

If you have passion for something, you will achieve it.

You don't need this kind of law.

Part of the problem in trying to discuss the law of attraction is the fact that no two people have the same idea, definition, or concepts about what it really is! I'm guessing that Napoleon Hill and Dale Carnegie were not even around when the phrase was coined - even though they may have espoused some of the same principles in their writings.

So, what exactly is the authoritative definition of the "Law of Attraction" - just so we're all talking about the same thing?

      Thoughts can manifest results.

Some people have taken that concept to extremes, or used it as an excuse to do nothing.

The law of attraction is perhaps widely attributed to Dan Kennedy, although these concepts actually date back into antiquity such as the Hellenistic period, ancient philosophy and religious texts.

Both Hill and Carnegie distilled into very simple terms these concepts through empirical surveys of people who had experienced uniquely successful practical application.

For example, Napoleon Hill interviewed 100 of the wealthiest men of his time, and found they all possessed 13 character traits in common. In similar fashion, Dale Carnegie identified and cataloged 6 traits that people need to get others to know, like, and trust them

The tragedy here is the so-called "Law of Attraction" has disassembled much of this empirical research and recombined some of it into convoluted iterations with added New Age nonsense so that it just comes out as confusing, silly and absurd.

    Hi CP,

My LOA take: it is a principle. It permeates all. It is always running. So it is not a tool, or something to be used, because it just is.

2 dominant energies exist: love and fear. If you do things mainly from love, your harmonize with loving people and loving, profitable outcomes, and you will render loving service and learn and practice and have fun and manifest a really cool life.

Unfortunately, most people do things from the energy of fear. So as noted succinctly below, the LOA is more about facing, feeling, and dissolving/purging fear-based beliefs so you can generously offer help from a place of love.

Do things from love, dive into and feel your fears - no matter how uncomfortable the fears feel - and you will align with rocking folks, rocking ideas, rocking circumstances and a pretty special life.
