Looking for specific ideas! Game marketing and how to attract new players?

At first, I'll just sum up some of our marketing approaches so far. We've build a freemium browser-based game in idle-clicker niche, so far we've got 75,000 players but looking for bigger numbers.

Some in-game viral concepts used so far:
- refer a friend system
- in-game voting system linked to bigger browser-based gaming ranking sites (our game 5/7 times ranked #1 in our niche)

Other marketing approaches:
We've build:
- a game developing blog - updates and improvements to the game + other game news
- social media channels (FB, TW, reddit)
- email list of registered players (in-built email marketing system according to players activity)
- forums
- participating in some niche gaming charts
- advertising on PTC's
- YouTube channels

Some of our ideas for upcoming promotions/marketing:
- creating new social media channels, such as Instagram
- preparing the game for other platforms, such as Kongregate and similar (huge player bases)
- creating more marketing materials, such as gameplay videos, gifs, funny game pics,...
- thinking of creating in-game referral contest
- looking for game journalists interested in writing an article about the niche and game
- CPA, CPL, CPS

We are aware that game itself is currently not generating viral effects, so we need to push it a bit as for now. Meanwhile, we are developing a user-friendlier version of the game, with a complete graphics overhaul and adding additional game mechanics that games in idle-clicker genre don't know as for now.

We've built a great community, but need to expand it A LOT as this is currently our main product and we need to offer the game to the wider audience.
What I need to emphasize is that we currently have the quite limited budget for advertising a game, so all mostly free advertising ideas (on SPECIFIC sites) are welcomed.
