educative MMO offers and Christmas...

I am planning to promote mid ticket affiliate offer in MMO niche with complete sales funnel which starts with opt in page.
It is not push button system at all. Just lead magnet is very educative and main offer is actually very comprehensive course.
However I am concerned about this part of the year - Christmas time. Even though many people spend more moneyin this part of the year than any other, they usually buy clothes, mobile phones, home decors etc.
I think that people rarely want to buy some comperhensive course and study it in Christmas time. They usually want to relax and go hard with their life in January after holidays but many people also try to save more money after holidays or they are almost broke or in debt with ther credit cards in January.
So what do you think? Should I start with this affiliate campaign right now or should I wait a little bit (for example, wait for January or even february)?
