Is it possible nowadays to get significant amount of traffic from search engines by using an autoblog which grabs automatically content from other blogs' RSS feeds? Or maybe it's totally waste of time...

I'm no SEO master but I think Google is going to look at your blog as filled with duplicate content. Back in the olden days when iPhones didn't exist and no one had ever heard the word selfie you could get traffic that way.

    So I wouldn't do that.

Nowadays even if you had the greatest original content in the world it will be a struggle to get a significant amount of traffic from search engines alone without a lot of work and a lot of time.

Sorry for the bad news. I hate being negative.

I think that you should change your strategy to get significant amount of traffic from search engines by using an autoblog.

There are a lot of different ways to get traffic faster.

But if you are good at that, like a master, then you can go for it.

Google has cracked down on auto blogs. Better to work for your own traffic. The only people nowadays who make money from autoblogs are the people selling the softwares.

Nope. Because it takes zero effort, adds nothing authentic and unique, and is manipulative in nature.

Learn how to create helpful, unique, authentic, genuine content. Google will reward workers, and connectors, and creators, and everybody else will vanish from search results. Now more than ever.

    Don't even bother.
If you're going to blog or start a website don't waste your time with auto blogging or stealing content from others. If you are going to do it, just use your own content. If you don't want to write your own then outaource it.

There's another perspective regarding autoblogs that you may not have considered.

I always thought that the point of an auto-blog was that it was a set-and-forget website that you could just forget about while it filled itself with garbage, theoretically pulling traffic in on its own from the sheer number of indexed pages?

If you have to actually work to drive traffic to it (which you will because Google knows exactly what it is and will treat it as such), wouldn't you be better off using that effort to just create some decent original content that the web en masse might actually get some value out of?

Yes, it's a waste of time. Don't do it.

Build an original blog around a niche topic, and generate revenue that way. Auto blogs will get you nowhere.

    I don't think so!

Nowadays you can't rank with auto blog kind setup and forget. But in my opinion, auto blog still live with another ways.

Thinking about amz products feed, coupons feed or something like that. I'm sure many sites out there auto get feed to make content.

What different? It's backlink and social engage.
