What do Casey Neistat, Roman Atwood, and Pewdiepie have in common?

I'd like to know how they market so well that they get huge audiences on youtube, and how they monetize, because it's one thing to be popular, but another to capitalize on popularity. Thank you.

    They entertain.

    They are personable.

They know their niche, speak directly to them and don't deviate from that.

Those are the things that I see they have in common.

Thanks. Do you think they all utilize similar monetization avenues?

Well, each of them has an adsense account on YouTube that makes them a good bit of coin, some in the millions.

Then, each of them has a site and each of them builds a list.

After that, each of them sells their own products.

So, in most respects they are very similar, yes.

The key to making money online is creating your own products and building a list.

If you don't, you don't have your own business, you're subject to other peoples whims and discretion's.

They probably also have sponsors approach them to advertise for them, correct? Being that they draw in such large audiences.

Hi, since I'm the only one answering him. I would like you to show me any statement I've said that is a maybe or what if.

Each thing I've said is solid.

Once you have even close to that large of a following you can get quite large sponsorship's.

Casey pretty much failed on everything business related except for his youtube channel. He even has a few videos on the subject.

Really, he doesn't do anything, even his Youtube videos are a bunch of nothing. Great, he flew on an airplane, first class. Not exactly a big deal. Oh, and he has an electric skateboard while he's 36 years old [sigh].

Personality is what I believe is the most important.

Ability to keep viewers engaged or entertained.

    Video / editing skills.

The obvious monetization comes from Adsense, selling merch and sponsorships.

Sponsorships are probably the trickiest if somehow related to the channel. You have a Canon sponsorship and review cameras.

I see small YouTuber's using Patreon. Doing live streams and getting donations/super chats.

I see bigger guys jumping on the Twitch IRL bandwagon for live streaming.

Here is a cool website that estimates YouTuber's Adsense income.
