I don't see much about Sales pages now a days?

Is a sales page absolutely necessary or can I send people directly from a webinar to a checkout page like Samcart?

    If the webinar presenter did an outstanding job then you may go without a sales page. Otherwise always use a sales page (lander) because it's proven they get more conversions.
