Hi-res Instagram videos

Hello,

New to the forum, but I wanted to ask what may seem like a basic question.

How I post hi-res videos on Instagram?

I have the hi-res video files on my desktop, but I can't figure out how to post them from there.

On mobile, I can't seem to get the video files to a spot where I can upload them to Instagram.

Help would be appreciated!

    from your phone using say google drive makes it a whole lot easier IE it gives you a place to select location of file from. so that work flow would look like:
    • Save your files into a Google Drive.
    • On your phone Open the Instagram app
    • Tap the camera icon to select a video.
    • Choose video location.
    • Select, and post.

    The other way is to email the video to yourself, and then you can save the video to your camera roll.

      Thanks for your reply.

      If I was to use Google Drive, how would I access those files when posting on Instagram? When I pull up instagram, it only has options to pull from my camera roll or take a video on the app.

      I tried emailing them to myself, but it will not give me the option to save the video.

      Any additional help would be appreciated.
