CB Hops,how do they show up?Reasons,ect.

OK,heres my question[s].
I just recently had a domain given to me by a warrior.I paid for renewel.

Now i just started submitting articles to the favorite article directorys,and i submitted the site to the social bookmarking sites.

After doing this and pinging my site,ect...articles on site are what is at article directorys.I went to CB to look at stats just because ive never done it before.
So it says i have 112 hops for my site in a week,but no sales.
Now is this just all my submissions and pinging,that are being counted as hops?
Or is it i have 112 hops with no sales.And,its the Magic of Making Up ebook.Im assuming its the pinging,ect...Im sure [MOMup] sells better than this.
Its a new site i just put up a couple weeks ago and its my first WP site.
Im still trying to figure out how to add a clickable pic as a link to put up in the right hand side widget colum.
I also have to add my 7 day ecourse with my auto-responder but havent figured it out yet.
Its going on the right side above the pic.So its above the fold.

    Do you see the affiliate names in Reports...Analytics? I find that page is pretty useful. You will also see affiliates named CBEngine and CBMonitor whicrh are two services that find new products through their feed or something. You will also see "not set" which should show you how many times your sales page was accessed directly (no affiliate).

    Well im on the analytics page right now and dont see any CBengine or monitor thing.
    It is saying i have 31 hops of MOMup.And it says it was between 9-23 and 9-25.
    I dont remember if i was doing anything to the site on those days.I think what i was doing was changing the tags and or adding tags to the pages,but with the pinging plugin it shouldnt have pinged anything.
    Where is this [not set] located at?
