Clickbank offer and lead magnet ?

Hello everyone,

I'm little confused about creating the best lead magnet when you would to promote a clickbank offer. As you know some clickbank offers provide in their affiliate tools some kind of free (ebook, report.. ) .

Is it a good idea to use them as your own lead magnet after editing them with your affiliate link when you want to build your list? i also found them highly targeted to the offer.

Or create your own lead magnet that is related to the niche that you are in? Like that you can promote to your leads different offers in your follow up.

    At the end of the day, I'm confident that your own uniqueness is one of your strongest attributes!

    So, if you can generate a unique lead magnet of your own, that's always a genius idea.



    Personally, I have about 10-15 lead magnets that I use, and split test during different situations.

    This way, I can see which lead magnets garner the highest interest, and I also have flexibility if I'm building some type of affiliate bridge funnel.

    Another benefit of having a boatload of different lead magnets, is that you can often insert calls to action promoting them within your own content. (So if you're writing a blog post about XYZ topic, you could then plug one of your lead magnets on XYZ topic).

    (I can also think backwards; if I'm promoting XYZ product, which lead magnet would complement and introduce this offer the best?).

    PS:

    I know that having a ton of different lead magnets may not be ideal or feasible, however, doing so definitely has benefits!

    The best thing you can do is stand out from the crowd and if you have your own unique lead magnet then you will definitely stand out. Just make sure it is congruent with the offer you are promoting. So if you are promoting cats, for example, make sure your lead magnet has something to do with cats.

    Depends.. assuming the lead magnet is high quality, then for my money, by far the more important issue is who gets to "own" the end-result of the traffic (ie: the opt-in details).

    If you run the lead through your own landing page and then send through the lead magnet, then I'd argue that within reason it doesn't matter who built the lead magnet.. you'll still have the opportunity to cross-sell different products at a later date.

    If the only way for the prospect to get the branded affiliate lead magnet is via the sellers landing page, and therefore they control the optin, then 100% create your own lead magnet.. you'd be crazy not to, as ideally you want as much as possible to own the results from traffic you purchase.

    That said, if the niche is somewhat crowded, then regardless, the only way you're going to cut through is to create your own branding and personality, which will almost certainly mean that, at some stage, you're going to want to be building out your own lead magnets.

    when i promote any clickbank offer i always create my own landing page and send traffic to that offer. there are some benifit of using your own landing page is 1- sending offer to landing page is converted and 2- you can collect lead from that offer so you can email your list.

    I agree with Sarevok 100%!! Being unique can be your strongest marketing method. Looking to do things that others aren't doing can be a super effective marketing strategy. Some people do review videos...
