Sort of reminds me of the guy in the copywriting sub forum who wants to make that place better through his particiption, and it seems to be working.

Instead of saying your country is messedup, why not embrace some of it's qualites that millions of people go there for, such as your cafes in Tangiers.

With Tangiers, Marrakech, and so many tourist spots, why don't you make an effort in whatever area you live in. Maybe be a local guide to show people the LOCAL places.

In some ways, all countries have some messed up things going on, but it doesn't stop or prevent someone with the motivation to pursue their dreams.

There are a lot of things you will need to learn as a "newbie". Here's is what I recommend:

    1. Have crystal clear written goals (30, 60, 90 & 1 year)
    2. Be positioned for success: Have a the right product and system to promote that product that pays good to high commissions (higher ticket items will require less sales)
    3. Be in the right environment: be surrounded by positive people that will encourage you
    4. Take massive action: especially when just starting out, you will need to work very hard to gain momentum and keep it going
    5. 30/30/30 Challenge; Avoid all news, newspapers, magazines etc, read a positive book for 30 minutes a day, listen to 30 minutes of a positive audio a day, do this every day for 30 days. If you miss a day you must start over.
    6. Attend industry events: meet other people in your niche, network, mastermind and learn from others
    7. Forget about the money: focus on creating value and helping others, the money will follow.

One other item I would highly recommend is to find a mentor in your niche and model what they do.

Start selling online on eBay.com or Amazon.com for example tajin in morocco for 20Dh or less (2$) you can sell it for 25$ or argan oil in USA 250ml I think for 30$ Ask about shepping in amana or an other agence or in post office you now there's lot of things in Moroccan culture.

Pick your passion first. Tie it to some pressing problem. This is the foundation, the starting point, for building a business.

I am a traveler who has only heard awesome things about your land buddy. Don't trash it. Be blessed that you grew up there. Also, if you want to make money, do it offline. Offline jobs are money makers, short term. Online businesses are not money makers for the first 6 months to 2 years. Gotta lay the foundation through smart, persistent work, before money flows in.

    Welcome to the forum mohakhoya,

Think about the things you are good at doing, about your education, your training, your life experiences. Starting from a place of "advantage" (things you know or can share with others) is always helpful.

I believe it's usually best to begin your business journey with a good understanding of your audience - who you are going to serve. Learn everything you can about them - their hopes, dreams, desires, questions, problems, failures, and for marketing purposes, where they can be found online so you can reach out to them.

Try to narrow this audience down into a like-minded (homogeneous) group of people that are looking for, and willing to buy, solutions to their problems, or information that will help them reduce their pain, achieve their goals, enjoy life more fully, save time or money, or associate with others in similar situations.

Sometimes your passion could be the same as your audience, sometimes not . . . but just remember that you will be approaching them as a confident, knowledgeable, helping friend that has both information and solutions of interest to them and you'd like to share what you know- things that will be of interest and help to them.

You have to sell to your audience if you want to have a profitable business. You don't have to create everything you offer, but it certainly can be a profitable way to extend solutions to your audience. You need peoples' contact information so you can market to them; so it is important to begin building a subscriber email list in your chosen niche.

This is just a beginning. You'll want to research the marketplace to learn about the competition as well as the desires of your audience. But IMO, this is a good place for beginners to start, i.e. without a product or service in mind until you understand what the audience wants and what solutions they are saying they will buy. Always sell into demand.

As in most disciplines, the details are all important. I haven't given you details, just a broad overview; but hopefully you can do some learning in the forum via the search function and find threads on subjects like choosing a niche, identifying an audience, doing online market research, building a subscriber list, etc, that will further help you.

    The very best to you,

    Steve

I'm pretty much a broken record when it comes to general questions as to what to do online to make money. This is because I've been doing the same thing for a little over 17 years and have been extremely successful doing it.

I heavily promote PPL (pay per lead...lead generation) offers. This is because there is no credit card / purchase required to complete an offer. All a user has to do is fill out a form, so conversion rates are typically much higher compared to offers that require a sale to be made.

I favor offers that have a make, get or save money benefit to them, as they have overall worked the best. They also tend to have the greatest mass appeal (will be of interest to a large general audience), so the potential exists to produce high volume and they are fairly easy to cross promote on the back-end.

Some of the verticals (niches) I have done extremely well with are: education, insurance, loans, debt, credit, mortgage, assistance, discount offers, homeowner offers, etc...

The bulk of the PPL offers that I promote pay $20-$40 per lead, but I also promote offers that pay more and less. You don't want to get too caught up on what an offer pays because how well it converts is just as important. For example, if you have an offer that pays $9, but if it converts at 2X or more of a $20 offer, then it will perform about the same or possibly better. At the same time, if you have an offer that pays $90 and it converts poorly, it may not even be worth promoting.

I have also done just as good with dating website sign-ups and pretty good with free trial + S/H offers. I also promote a very limited number of offers that are straight up purchase offers. However, mass appeal needs to exist and I look for one of the following to also exists:

    1) The product is new and/or novel-unique and you can't purchase it locally or even something similar. I don't waste my time with it once something similar shows up in Walmart.

    2) The buyer can truly get what is being offered at a decent discount.

    3) Solves a house is on fire type problem.

However, most of the above I will promote on the back-end. Which is why the first thing I look for is mass appeal.

Bottom line, it's far easier to get someone fill out a short form than to get them to pull out their credit card and make a purchase. So why struggle with trying to sell this or that, when you can provide free information that users want/need and get paid well doing it.

    Something to think about.

We all have our bad circumstance(s). You're right though for joining the forum and learning how to sell online. Good job and good start. Alot of your questions can be answered via the "search" function at the top of the page. I suggest you put your inquiries there and start learning. Be sure to research internet marketing on Youtube also.

There are many worthy tips from other users. When I started my ecommerce business I used roix.io platform 'cause I had no idea what I want to sell. So I checked the market and analyzed the current trends. Also I took into consideration shipping costs and average price. And it's also necessary to make a business plan.

You need to sit down and identify what your passionis . And then you pursue your passion with a view to helping people solve problems through your chosen business. Profiting online may take anything from 6 months to a year. And you need to stick with it. Ignore all the get rich schemes that you see online. They are all scams.

What exactly do you like doing?

    What is your hobby?

Do you like writing, if so, you can become a freelancer--writing jobs are almost always available.

Of course, you could start a blog on your hobby--and after you have built up a readership you can monetize it.

However, do not just jump in, for example, we will say you decide to start a blog--great.

Now, you need to come up with a plan.

By this I mean, before you buy hosting and a domain--like I did when I was starting out.

Sit down and write thirty good posts for your blog.

Make these are 500-1,000 works of great content.

Once this is done start publishing the content--I like to go with M-F and off the weekends, but, you can decide how you want to publish your content.

Now, as you publish them, announce them on the the social media platforms like facebook and twitter.

Not too mention that you need to "hang out" there and hep people on social media, same with the big forums in your niche.

Join five of them and just help people out.

Once you get enough posts, put a link to your blog in your sig.

Keep this up, along with adding new "good" content to your blog and you will be going good.

    Keep us posted.

Hi dude, first of all, i could suggest you to read well around here, and try to decide what you think could be easy for you to promote, then try to solve those simple questions, choosing a good target audience, establishing a prelanding page, searching a traffic source through which you will promote, and learn also about tools that could be helpful for you to manage easily that campaign, such as trackers, spy-tools, etc... I will also suggest you to promote mobile offers, you can learn about antivirus offers, sweepstakes, they do work well, and are not that expensive for a newbie budget! Hope this is helpful for you, wish you luck!

  • There are really a lot of good pieces of advise here. I was actually in your shoes before. What I did is I just started reading a lot online businesses, joining related forums like WF, and really spending time studying how online business works. I made a few blog sites before as well. I'm all hands-on, which really pushed me to start with affiliate marketing. My journey was not that easy but all my hardships are worth it since I really set my mind that this is what I want to do. My advise to you is to just read what is offered online. Take time to learn and understand and then start from there. Each day that you are learning something, you also open your mind to what you want to do. Good luck!

You're not living in Moroco, you're living in the Internet.
If you can speak and write in English effortlessly, there should be no difference between you and an ordinary American who was born and still living in the United States.
I've never been to the US, but I promote products and services to Americans.
Changing your mindset should be your number one priority.

On the other hand, why don't you become one of the most popular Moroccan YouTuber, for example?

Here is a Socialblade rating for you https://socialblade.com/youtube/top/...mostsubscribed

First 100 channels from this list make tens of thousands of dollars every month. Why can't you join this list?
