Copy Writing is witing that is designed to make the reader take a particular action. usually sales letters to make a sale, or squeeze pages to get a email address.

Content writing refers to informative and helpful articles, slide shows, videos, etc. For example. You have a cooking blog, the content would be recipes, articles about techniques, product reviews, you get the point.

Content marketing is the process of getting your content in front of as many eyes as possible. That could be many things from guest blogging, signature links, youtube, podcasts, email blasts.

Content automation....The only automation I would use is autoresponder sequences. A lot of times automation waters down your content and could hurt your branding. But this is just my opinion

    Rakhi,

These are all very similar. Copywriting is the action of creating written content in a away that convinces people to take action (click a link, watch a video, make a purchase...etc).

I would say that content writing is the same thing.

Content marketing is promoting content, which could be written, a video, an image..etc. So rather than creating it is more syndicating the content.

I am not sure what content automation is, but I would not suggest creating any content automatically. There are programs such as an autoreponder which can sent out emails automatically or software such as Buffer that can distribute content to various social media platforms on a schedule, but you need to load up the content and schedule when and where to send it.

Copywriting is the act of writing text for the purpose of advertising or other forms of marketing. The product, called copy, is written content that aims to increase brand awareness and ultimately persuade a person or group to take a particular action. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copywriting

Content marketing is a form of marketing focused on creating, publishing and distributing content for a targeted audience online.[1] It is often used by businesses in order to:

    Attract attention and generate leads
    Expand their customer base
    Generate or Increase online sales
    Increase brand awareness or credibility
Engage an online community of users
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_marketing
And a marketer's most important tool:

A web search engine is a software system that is designed to search for information on the World Wide Web. The search results are generally presented in a line of results often referred to as search engine results pages (SERPs). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_search_engine
I added this because it seems most newbies are inexplicably unaware it exists.
