Is Podcasting an important part of your strategy?
I love being here, among people with similar goals and on a similar journey.
I am a solo entrepreneur, trying to build an audience.
I am doing allright, I am getting somewhere.
My strategy is based on content marketing, providing value in order to get noticed and build a reputation and a list.
My challenge is time. I use 4-6 hrs a week to produce that content:
- blog posts, Facebook posts, videos for YT and FB, Instagram posts, even live on FB and the occasional Webinar.
My question today is:
- do you see distinct advantages in podcasting for growth/audience building purposes?
Isn't it a little last century? See, I have had a paying podcasting account, but not really time to put the effort.
Should I ask my users? Run a few tests?
Should I just quit?
Producing podcast episodes would cost time and money, without a clear return.
It wont' make me money either. It would be yet another tool in my arsenal.
I find that the other channels are more rewarding, as they create engagement and the results are more measureable.
And, unless I hire people to help me make more free content, I don't really have the time to play with that.
